The room exceeded my expectations. It is located in a beautiful manor like a castle. The room facilities are comfortable, warm, spacious and bright. It is absolutely quiet. There are blackout windows and sufficient heating. I would like to stay a few more days next time.

It is said to be a 28 square meter room, but I was given a room of at most 16 square meters. The quilt cover was not flat, a crumpled towel was placed beside the bathtub, and the items provided were of poor quality. Except for the outer shell of the entire building, there are not many historical traces inside. There is no lobby. There is a table in the narrow space at the entrance for check-in. Then go straight up the stairs. The price/performance ratio is too low.

Fantastic location in a lovely building, great service with quality bedding and great food, the facilities are great with nice pool steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Had a nice meal and great service from the restaurant, the bar manager was great, and kept all of our party happy with a good selection of drinks

Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Our server Angela was very attentive. Great experience all round! Added bonus it's the place where they filmed "The Haunting!" The coffee, cakes and savories were delicious, The grounds were immaculate.

Ordered afternoon tea for 2 at £40 each but billed £112.50. Additional / unexpected charges included: £20 for two coctails which were presented to us shortly after we sat down (and which we therefore assumed were part of the package) and a 12.5% service charge which isn't visible in the headline / marketed price when we booked but we found it in the small print at the bottom of the menu when we got home and looked more closely. The service was excellent but the sting in the bill has left a very bad taste!
