Sempione Boutique Hotel

Fantastic modern, well appointed and spotlessly clean hotel - the epitome of wonderful hospitality from the whole team. Location is perfect for exploring Maggiore with an array of local restaurants and shops on the doorstep (Italian restaurant next door is superb for dinner). We had breakfast 3 mornings out of 4 and it was lovely and plentiful, nothing was too much trouble! Drinks on the terrace are a must - the view is stunning, like a little piece of heaven! Daniela gave us a great insight into local attractions and Marta was so helpful in finding info when specifically asked to (we wanted to go into the lake with a hire boat). We would highly recommend to others and return ourselves in a heartbeat.

Location, location, location, you will not find a more perfectly situated boutique hotel on Lake Maggiore. The rooms are spacious, comfortable , well appointed and very large bathrooms. The rooftop terrace, for drinks and breakfast, offers spectacular views of the Lake and the Borromean Islands. The town centre ( Centro storico) is a 100 metres away, and you can find a multitude of stores and restaurants. The ferry service is also the same distance from the hotel and stops at many smaller idyllic villages as well as the three main islands, beware the hawkers spruiking the 3 island only service, use the “navigazione isole stresa “. Finally you will not find a more obliging staff and first class service.

Just returned from a week in Stresa staying at the Sempione Boutique Hotel. What a fantastic place. The hotel is right on the lake front near to the ferry terminal with panoramic views across the lake. Everything about the hotel is just right. Its small size, friendly staff led by Daniella, breakfast on the roof terrace. Our room was very comfortable with a fridge, kettle, coffee machine, safe and plenty of electrical sockets, all with USB outlets. The whole hotel is modern and light. The attention to detail is superb. All rooms have a balcony. It was a joy to return in the evening for a drink on the rooftop terrace and watch the lake as the sun set. Recently renovated this small beautiful boutique hotel is smart & stylish. We had a classic room with wonderful lake views & balcony. Lovely light & quiet modern room. Large modern bathroom with quality toiletries . Very good secure wifi, plenty of tv options & also plenty of sockets to recharge devices including those with newer smaller pins. Water provided both still & sparkling. Also a guests laundry . An excellent breakfast served on the rooftop terrace which later in the day operates as a bar with food also available to enjoy the lake views. Hosts Daniela & Graziano along with Marta, Sara & Valeria provide exceptional hospitality. Good restaurant recommendations also provided.

Perfect location very nice owners so friendly and very professional. Very clean and new . The rooftop breakfast is amazing lake views and the nice lady gave us the best tips for day out and made reservations for a restaurant. I wish them al the luck and a lot of guests.greetings Miranda

My husband and I stayed 3 nights. We had a room with lake view. It had 2 balconies. The hotel and rooms are fully renovated. Our Room (mini suite) was great, clean and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was quite big. There is a terrace on the upper floor. It has a great view of the lake and its surroundings. You can have breakfast on the terrace or you can enjoy drinks in the evening. The location is great. The ticket booth for ferries is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a washer and dryer. You can use them for a small fee. I would definitely recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed. M.C
