Husband and I went just for a quick getaway (we live in Fort Lauderdale). It’s only an hour and a bit drive for us. Such a cool, historic place, very old, but well kept and with an up to date bathroom, kitchen and living area. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. And the king sized bed was very comfy. We are planning to visit again soon. Lots of little shops and restaurants within walking distance.

It's a perfect place, close to the broadwalk and restaurant. Rooms are clean with "old style charm". People who manage the hotel are very sympathetic. the parking is free. It s clsoe to the beach and the other actities in stuart. We will come back

well appointed studio with king bed and comfortable sofa; I loved the medium hard mattress but wife is an ultimate soft mattress lover (separate mattresses at home). Service was excellent, location to Downtown couldn't be better. 2nd floor with no elevator could be troublesome for some people. Back stairs in dire need of repair, but appears owners are making their way around the property for upgrades. Will absolutely stay in one of their rooms in the future!

I was there for a weekend, the building is vintage, well care, I love the historic photos on the walls, wood floors, Place was clean, quiet, Comfortable bed , friendly staff, excellent location to go to riverwalk, park ,stores and restaurants

Charming Inn located in cute historic downtown Stuart. The location is great, close to restaurants, shops, the water and the Lyric Theater. Our room was extremely clean, smelled great and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfy, we enjoyed coffee in the kitchenette in the room in the morning and it was a very quiet peaceful nights sleep. The owners of the Inn reach out before to make sure to welcome you upon arrival and even give a follow up phone call after check out to make sure we had a great stay, Very classy! Would definitely recommend.

We were supposed to be going to Homosassa Springs but Hurricane Debby had other plans. Literally, the day we were supposed to leave with our group of 9, we had to cancel our plans. We had the time for the week off and the kids were all excited about our long awaiting end-of-summer trip. I got on the computer and quickly started searching for southeast Florida vacations. I came across The Old Colorado Inn and from the first time I called and spoke with the front desk, I knew that's where we were meant to go. The hospitality was amazing from that first phone call to after we checked out. Our group consisted of 3 families with 3 children. We had planned on bringing our boats as well. Mallory was able to help us decide which house would be best for our group size and parking availability. We stayed in the Clifton Guest and Fishing Lodge. The size and layout of the home was perfect for our needs. The pool access was utilized immensely. AND we were able to bring our fur kids. Without a doubt, we will return.

We celebrated my husbands 60th at the Owl House. Some of our friends stayed at the inn and others in the cottages. Each one of the people we interacted with before, during and even after our stay were incredibly helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They truly went above and beyond to make it perfect and it truly was. We felt so welcome and taken care off. The Owl House is unique and was a lovely spot for our large gathering. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Wonderful, special place. We stayed in the serenity suite, which is part of the oldest house in Stuart. The pool and jacuzzi access was great. It’s not the most impeccable, new/modern type of property, but if you want something historical and with character, this place is it. Super convenient location, walking easily to all the small towns “Main Street” restaurants and shops. The shower water pressure was great, which I always appreciate. Would stay again and sample different unique rooms.

Gorgeous property with a lot of character. Our suite was v well equipped. We arrived out of hrs but this wasn’t a problem due to excellent communication and instructions. V friendly staff. Yes the train can be heard passing through but it really wasn’t a problem for us. Would definitely return.
