I had booked 4 nights in this hotel since my daughter was in the hospital in Stuttgart. At the booking I had to pay the full amount including breakfast and deep garage parking in advance. Fortunately, my daughter was fired back from the hospital after the second day and we could go home. When I came to talk about the return of overpaid nights when checking out, the staff asked me to write a message with the concern to the boss, he would then forward it. Two weeks later, I had no repayment or feedback. I sent a news on the Internet portal to the hotel with a deadline for feedback. The deadline is over, feedback and refund error. If a hotel thinks it must retain money for a rebooking, I expect at least a feedback. The desire of a client to just stand out and use an emergency situation to maximize profits is not possible. I'll probably give the case to my lawyer. The conduct of the management of this hotel is limited to fraudulent behaviour. I learn from that I will not pay any more in such a cheap hotel in advance and I would rather spend a few more euros on a famous hotel. To all others who want to stay in Stuttgart: Finger away from the Hotel Sautter, if something unforeseen comes, you will be cut off there!

The best thing about the Astoria is really the location, right in the city centre on Hospitalstrasse. One of my favourite places to stay when in Stuttgart it is very central to all the main attractions in the city and close enough to rail tram bus links.. its always a pleasure to stay when I'm on town.... I always recommend highly when anyone I know come to visit..

Location: well located, near to shops, malls, restaurants, bars… vibrant area. Room: we had the urban option, spacious, clean, modern, comfortable bed, great shower, sufficient amenities. Front desk service was very helpful. Parking below the hotel was clean, secure and spacious. We didn’t take the breakfast but lots of people were there and it looked good. Will definitely recommend EmiLu hotel to friends and family.

The rooms are nice and stylish, and the staff really makes an effort to appreciate members of their loyalty program. Everything was super clean and the location is a few minutes walking distance from the airport. They have a nice bar, and I like the atmosphere a bit better than their other airport hotel - I think it is a bit more relaxed.

A cup (to be put on my own) coffee in the room I had been worth, but below were for 1.30 euros (is not too expensive) to get hot drinks. Staff was friendly. Service was good. It was very warm in Stuttgart but, fortunately, there was air conditioning. Quiet room, though you heard the train passing, but not too hard. Cleaning the room should be a little more attention in my view.
Everywhere: price quality is good, I'll book it again the next time I go to Stuttgart.

AAndy GWe had preciously stayed at the Aloft in Munich, and were impressed enough to choose the Aloft chain again for a recent short visit to Stuttgart. We were not disappointed. The hotel is conveniently located a few steps from the UBahn (one stop from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of stops away from the main centre) and is part of a new shopping complex with a range of stores and eating outlets. Facilities are modern, clean and well appointed, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We were especially impressed with the helpfulness of the reception staff, all of whom went out of their way to look after our needs. One of our party was without vital medication, and hotel reception took the trouble both to identify the best local medical centre to obtain a prescription and to give detailed directions for finding it. We would certainly stay here again for future visits to the city.

GGuest UserPositive things first : - Fast elevators - Big Room - Lots of seating possibilities in room - Bathroom with shower separate from Toilet - Big bed - Nice lightning - Lots of storage Now the negative things: - Can't close the curtains properly - so it's quite light ( especially as the building in front of us had the lights on... ( maybe add some clips on the wall where we could clip the curtains in ). - Very soft pillows ( like really soft xD ) - It wasn't mentioned anywhere that the Parking is NOT in the same building. Really inconvenient as you have to walk over a high speed big street, then 2 floor down to find your car - not really ideal if with Luggage or if you have difficulties to walk. Otherwise it was a great stay :)

GGuest UserWe stayed here as our usual hotel was fully booked On the main street with free car parking on street after 6pm at night until 8am in the morning . Hotel does have its own car parking but charges 15 euros a night and as we arrived after 6pm and departed by 8am no point in paying when you can park on the street It was very hot when we stayed and we were surprised to find that such a modern hotel did not have air-conditioning. We were provided with a fan for our room which I have to say without one the room would have been unbearable to sleep in Breakfast was fine the next day usual selection of breads, cheeses, meats etc Would we stay again? Probably not due to excessive heat in the room

GGuest UserThe hotel has had some recent renovations but unfortunately they used direct stick carpet which made the floor very hard. It's fairly close to everything, local train will take you into the town center, approximately 15 minutes. The room was a reasonable size and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was OK but the shower was small. It was unusual to find that the bar and restaurant were both closed . However, close by there is a supermarket where you can buy just about anything. There are also many local restaurants withing walking distance. The gentleman on the afternoon shift was extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. Another positive note, is that the hotel is walking distance to the Porsche Museum, which is a must see.

GGuest UserDas Familienzimmer 261 war sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Qualität der Matratzen ist dem Preis entsprechend nicht perfekt, aber reicht für einen kurzen Trip. Ansonsten treffen in diesem Hotel verschiedenste Gruppen aufeinander. Wir hatten Glück und konnten direkt vor der Tür parken. Der Parkplatz an der Straße kostet 10,30€ pro Tag. Das Frühstück kostet 9,30€ und ist für einen guten Start in den Tag komplett ausreichend. Man sollte auch hier keine Wunder erwarten. Die U-Bahn fährt direkt um die Ecke. Um Stuttgart zu erkunden würde ich eine Fahrkarte empfehlen. Ich hatte kaum Erwartungen und war deshalb nicht enttäuscht.

GGuest UserThe reception was closed everywhere on Sunday, although it was closed. The rooms were very clean, the rooms were very well arranged, the washroom was clean. We stayed four people. The room was very enough. The parking is also a big advantage. Also as a price is very good. I won't say anything about breakfast because we didn't prefer to make breakfast at the hotel. Recommended.

GGuest UserReception person was nice enough. Spoke to the ”Chef” a day or so prior to check-in - requested and was given a front facing, lower floor room. Upon check-in given a 3rd room floor with NO couch (where the couch should be) and no chair. Back to reception; given a 5th floor room with SAME result; back to reception. Given a 6th floor room which at least had a chair where the couch should have been - I'll stay here buuuuut mini fridge inop as was the Thermostat. Bathroom water pressure was dismal with no condiments; good I always bring my own. BTW exiting the elevator on the 6th floor: lights were out in the hallway and as I always check the stairway, also dark, told reception who called maintenance who solved the problem.

GGuest UserRoom was ok, great for the price but nothing special. No refrigerator or air conditioning so room got very hot. Also was the first hotel I’ve stayed at where you had to pay for a late checkout, but we were only using it to sleep then was out traveling the town and visiting the Porsche museum the whole day so for that purpose it was worth the price.
