Stayed here for a business trip in October 2024 in room 507. Staff was very friendly 5 stars. They allowed me to check in an hour before my check in time and that is where the positive experience ends. I checked in on the 30th on the 2nd I noticed itching on my pinky finger and some swelling I didn't think anything of it because it was just that one. On the 4th I woke to 3 bites on my right arm pulled the sheets back and there it was!!! My room had bed bugs, I had bites and caught the bed bug in a tissue for them to see. Only to be told that it has to be confirmed by an investigation through Terminix which could take months before I can be reimbursed in any way. Thank God the company I work for took care of this. I had to put all of my things in trash bags to take home because I was told that they do not carry cash or do vouchers to help get my clothing properly cleaned. Also, so much for this being a smoke free facility because as soon as the sliding doors open your blasted with smoke clouds from the cleaning crew and other visitors smoking right there.

I have stayed at this property 6-8 times previously but the condition has deteriorated. The room was clean but some outlets did not work and the WiFi was unreliable. It cut off so frequently that I was unable to work. I wrote my review before checking out but the internet service cut off preventing me from completing it. The breakfast was pathetic. The only fresh fruit were cellophanes wrapped apples and the juice dispenser was out of order. The oatmeal was watery and bread choices were limited to white bread and a stale bagel. The coffee dispenser was out of Bold, offering only decaf. How can you claim that you have breakfast?? Never staying again

Stayed in room 213 last night, room had dried tooth paste on bathroom counter and other stuff, not clean. I travel with bleach wipes to wipe down all my rooms as I travel frequently. Tub had ***** hair but even all that was not the worse! Don’t usually check the shower in my room before bed! Got up, had breakfast, had to jump in the shower to get ready for work and NO shower! Fortunately I had a Starbucks cup I used to wash off with! You might say why not call for repair, get moved to another room, I have no time for that in the am. I am a traveling sales rep that goes town to town, hotel to hotel. Mornings I have to be up dressed and out, no time to move rooms or wait for maintenance. Housekeeping had to know that shower was busted and did not flag it. And then I get booked in room with non working shower! Bad management, never staying here again!

Everything was very good. Nice clean room, wonderful bedding, friendly accommodating staff & plentiful nice white towels. I like Hampton very much. After many years of being loyal to La Quinta, we jumped ship after some major issues with Wyndham and their Ocean City, MD La Quinta (avoid at all costs!). I also love Hilton when I'm not traveling back and forth to our Florida home from our NJ home with my husband, his service dog & our family dog. Love that Hampton Inn is pet friendly just hate the stiff $75 pet fee. I would think repeat guests and their furry friends could 'graduate' to a more reasonable fee like $50 then $25. after proving they are well behaved. Most people are not going to leave the house keeper a tip especially after paying the $75 non-refundable fee,

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn Suffolk. It was easily accessible from the highway and there were a few fast-food places to eat within walking distance. The front desk staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We were able to check in earlier in the day than expected, which was great! Our room was fresh and clean. The bathroom was nice and even had enough towels for all 4 of us, which is a rarity! We really appreciated it. We could tell that the staff was truly cleaning the hotel because you could smell the cleaning agents. Though it may have smelled a bit strong at times, we were comforted by the fact that things were getting cleaned. In the morning, breakfast was great. We usually experience a crowded breakfast area with few tables and even fewer things to eat, but not this time. Everything was so clean and organized. The staff member working the breakfast area was genuinely helpful and continually refreshed the food and milk stations without hesitation. We were also very happy to see individual containers of name-brand cereals. There was plenty of parking and we felt safe at this hotel. Everything was perfect. We would love to stay here again.

Hampton Inn Suffolk is a very nice and comfortable. Came here with my dad. Pretty close drive to mall and old town Suffolk. Enjoyed our stay room was clean. We didn't stay long but would recommend if you are stopping through.

We stayed here on the final night of our trip and it was a good hotel but in a congested area with shopping centers around it. There were several restaurants nearby as a result and we enjoyed dinner at the Sante Fe Grille in the shopping ***** next to the hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean. However, the hot water in the lobby/breakfast area was never hot enough for tea. It was warm but not hot. I got tea in the evening and again in the morning and both times it wasn't hot. I did like the nice indoor pool and was able to enjoy a relaxing swim there.
