Red Roof Inn Hillsville

Average. The first room had dirty sheets and smells badly, but it was replaced fairly quickly. Breakfast is super simple - cereals, toaster bread, coffee and some muffins.

This Red Roof is conveniently right off the highway. I was welcomed immediately by the open and friendly hostess. The room and bathroom were clean. I appreciated the uncarpeted floors which seem easier to keep clean. For this size hotel I also appreciated having a mini-fridge (that I used) and microwave (that I didn't). The breakfast is truly continental, cereal, muffins, apples, and the coffee was fine. There is no elevator (that I know of) but the wide open interior staircase and well lit inside halls made access and comfort level easy enough for me. The morning staff were all friendly and helpful as well. I will stay there again.

I always stay here on our trips to Florida. Convenient to highways and places to eat. Wish something can be done about the banging doors but other than that, everything was great.

I always stay at this motel on my trips to Florida. This time i was a little unhappy, not with the motel at all, but the patrons staying there. Doors seemed to be banging all night long. Where anyone was going, I have no idea. People across the way seemed to have a room full of yapping dogs that never seemed to end. Im an animal lover, so usually this doesnt bother me but this was ridiculous. Decided next time, ear plugs are going to be a must have.

Very clean

Two seniors stayed here for 1 night in early June in a double queen bed and thought it was nice. The lighting was ok but there really should have been more. Breakfast was bread/english muffins/muffins cereal and apples. Room furnishings were in excellent condition and the room was very clean. Very friendly staff. Wi-Fi was fine with no dropouts. Would stay here again as it is directly off I77 and very near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Note that the hotel is located close to restaurants and gas.
