Sat waiting for transfer to take us the airport. If Glarus did strictly its a 10 from me. I read some reviews and was hesitant. From what I heard, I do not understand what people expect when they come to another country. Check in fast and efficient, two lovely ladies on reception. We booked a single and twin rooms for myself and two sisters with an ocean view, rooms 600 and 602. Excellent. (Review from sisters there was a lot of noise from the *****). My review was not loud, close the door and three quarters go's away. Maid service top notch, all staff pleasant, there was always something to eat at breakfast, never went without a meal. Pool area kept clean by an army of workers, work hard to make the place clean for us. Location was spot on. Over the bridge and on the *****. Shops, restaurants, supermarkets,. Shout out to Stella and the young guy who calls you in. Work their socks off, BUT we'll done to all the staff in Glarus sports bar. Would I cone back. Definitely, would I stay at the Glarus ABSOLUTELY. To the team, thank you.

Had 14 nights here from 26th August 2024 to 9th September. We had a top floor room at the back very quiet. The Towels were changed everyday and the bed every three. The room was spacious and very clean. Don't go all inclusive as the food isn't very nice or the Drinks apart from the Wine which was nice. The Bars around the pool arnt inclusive. We had terrible customer service in the Glarus Sports bar whilst trying to watch the Premier league game. Germans we're given preference over us. They actually turned our game off to watch German football on all screens. There was a family watching our game too I felt very sorry for them 😐 The Glarus karaoke bar is fun.We don't like bingo though and got told off for talking to each other throughout the bingo 🙄

Myself and my 10 year old son booked for 1 week all inclusive at the end of August. After stupidly reading recent reviews just before we went I was absolutely dreading it, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The 3* rating is probably accurate. I requested a low floor pool/sea view room on check in and got it at no extra cost. The air con wasn't working, I reported it and we got moved to another room straight away so not a problem. The room was very basic but was enough for our needs, the sheets and towels were changed at least every other day. There was a small gap in the top of the shower seal so it left a bit of a puddle just outside the shower door but we just put a towel down, problem solved! The noise from the pool side bars went on until about midnight/1am which was very loud sat on the balcony but we quite enjoyed it, it was like being there without being there. Closing the doors shut out a lot of the noise and it didn't keep us awake. Poolside/bridge was a bit slippy but nowhere near as bad as what I was expecting from the reviews. People used towels to reserved sunbeds VERY early (possibly the night before) which was a bit if a pain but as we weren't out and about late we just joined in the race to get a bed and reserved ours early too - if you can't beat them join them kind of attitude! Staff appeared miserable (probably fed up at the end of a long season) but weren't rude! Other patrons could be rude but we also met some lovely people so it wasn't an issue for us. The food definitely wasn't the best or the warmest but I could have got by everyday if I had wanted/needed to but they really didn't cater for fussy eaters/children - my son didn't eat anything from there all week! The drinks choice for all inclusive was very poor. The restaurant next door (10% off for Glarus guests) did an AMAZING omelette which I had for breakfast one day. The little takeaway next to one of the pool bars, just across the bridge, did lovely kebabs, jacket potatoes, chips and pizza slices - my son ate from there most days! Couldn't ask for more from the location, it was perfect and having the pool/sea view from our room was beautiful both on a night and through the day. It was also a short transfer time (about an hour max) so that was ideal too. I would stay here again and would probably go all inclusive again as the price wasn't that much different so even if I only got a bit of breakfast, a few beers and my son got soft drinks and ice creams it was worth it for that then we'd just be prepared to eat out for our main meal. On the day we got there I booked a massage for my son (they did a child's one and he wanted to try it) and a pedicure for myself at the onsite salon for the following day. I double checked I could pay by card at the end f the treatment(s) and was advised that I could. When we got there I asked if there was time for a manicure too and there was so got both done. When I came to pay I was told I could pay by card for the massage

Where to start, had to pay 105 lev to have pool view room when I got there on top of what i already paid,no safe in room like stated, emailed prior to hire a kettle, confirmed that I could ,then get there i couldn't hire one, rooms very dated, couldn't have a proper shower, had to hold the shower head to wash hair, when the next room flushed toilet you could smell it in our bathroom, I paid for all inclusive, couldn't eat the food it was that bad ,had to eat out every day, tried the food a few times on the last time we tried it ,just got potatoes and salad, thought you couldn't go wrong with that how wrong was I, potatoes was bad and turned a piece of lettuce over and that had black stuff on it,the bar staff didn't know how to smile,on the first night couldn't get a drink as the pool and lobby bar were both closed ,ended up going to the shop getting some beer and going to our room ,not want you want to do on holiday, the only good thing about this hotel was the glarus karaoke bar which is part of the hotel but not included in the all inclusive, this was our first and last time in bulgaria,

Stayed at the Glarus for the 2nd year as a couple can’t beat the location and the Glarus bar! We went B&B but ate out as food is not great but we planned to eat out everyday anyways so this doesn’t bother us! The only issue was there was a leak in our toilet but other than this good for a 3 star hotel

Room was OK the pillows were lumpy and the shower was useless had to hold it whilst having a shower. Went bed and breakfast found this disappointing and food was cold but did have a microwave which was useful. Other guest extremely rude and ignorant and always made sure they had more food than they could eat. Went last year and stayed at different hotel and we enjoyed it. Will never go to Bulgaria again.
