This hotel is older. Maybe time for remodeling to get rid of the old carpeting and furniture. They do their best to keep it clean. No usb ports like the newer hotels bring your plugs for your chargers and electronics.

This trip was one of those wild get aways and while we were close to Sawgrass Mills a nearby room was preferrd. We checked in before the crowd so were able to change rooms when the second floor hallway and carpet had been sprayed with some form of strong cleaner. The third floor had not been sprayed so that was helpful. A smile by the front desk clerk during the process would have conveyed an understanding rather than present as a bother. There were some small room issues that were promptly resolved - but early repoorting to the repair team by the housekeepers woul eliminate future concerns. Otherwise a quiet, peaceful and restful stay - and that's why we stay at La Quinta.

The room smelled like mold and there were also roaches....alive that ran when the lights turned on. Only 3 or 4 of them. The hotel window had no screen on it so as much as i wanted to air the room out, i couldnt because bugs kept flying inside. Poor experience
