Small but beautiful hotel, the interior decoration is Omani style, the room is not big and the furnishings are simple, but it has everything you need. The swimming pool area is beautiful and is the highlight of the hotel. The breakfast is also good. The front desk has a chartered car service to go to nearby points.

Good starting point for excursions in the area. The hotel is a bit old but offers a solid standard with a fair price/performance ratio. Friendly service and comfortable beds. Typical local breakfast buffet with cold and warm dishes. Free parking next to the building.

Stay here for 2 days , enjoyed the hospitality from the staff. I must mention Mr. AMIT from the restaurant made my experience more comfortable. Nice ambiance around the hotel , must recommend for solo trip and with family. Didn’t got a chance to visit the pool Thanks Ravindran

Wat een fijn hotel met heel vriendelijk personeel! Ze verwelkomen je elke keer als ze je zien, doen echt hun best om je op je gemak te laten voelen en je een prettig verblijf te bezorgen. Het is hier schoon en netjes, kamer wordt ook mooi schoon gemaakt en alles wordt zelfs opgeruimd. Echt heel tevreden!

We came for dinner here two nights in a row. Food was lovely, but the service was amazing! We had Amir serving us both nights and wow! What fantastic service! He made sure our drinks were filled and our food was on time. I cannot fault him. Brilliant service.

Do not stay here 1. I had a water leak in my room which meant needed to transfer all my stuff to a new room half way through my trip. 2. Wifi did not work for me once during whole stay on iphone or laptop 3. Food was bad quality. Ordered steak medium rare and came back so overcooked I could bot chew and then next time came back so raw it was nearly alive 4. They charge you if you lose the little plastic card for your room! Crazy

We only spent one night in this hotel on our Oman tour. But we have fond memories of our stay. The hotel is a little old, but everything was very clean and well-maintained. Ideal for one or two nights when passing through. The hotel has a beautifully landscaped outdoor area where you can relax in or by the swimming pool. The dinner (buffet) was good and the breakfast buffet was good too. And not to forget: The staff were very friendly and always helpful. We would especially like to mention Amir. He served us very politely and reserved a table for us for dinner by the pool in the afternoon. A very special story about Admir: When he told us that he was from Sri Lanka, we told him that we also did a tour of Sri Lanka six years ago. We showed him pictures from back then, of where we had been. There was a picture of a nice waiter who had served us back then. And now the big surprise: It is exactly the Amir in the picture who is serving us again today in the Hotel Sur Plaza in Oman!!! How small the world is!! Maybe we'll meet the nice service specialist again somewhere in the world.
