1. There are no storage lockers for any of the beds, and the front desk said they’re under repair. This really affects the experience. However, there are cameras in the common areas, which should reduce the chances of personal belongings being stolen.
2. The location is good, with malls nearby. Starbucks and McDonald's are within a 10-minute walk.
3. The hostel lobby is too dark, making it difficult to read, but the lighting in the bathrooms is quite good.

The hostel is located in the downtown area of Surabaya, across the road from the Gubeng Railway Station, with many supermarkets and small restaurants around, and convenient for travel. There is a public bathroom on the rooftop where you can hang clothes. There is a public space in the lobby on the first floor, where you can book a trip to the volcanic waterfall.
