It is said that after staying in Surat for a few days at Park Inn and discovering the secret of bottled water, I decided to change to a more upscale hotel. I think I will not continue to be unhappy with water. Marriott's hotel was formerly called The Gateway Hotel Athwalines, which had been transferred to Marriott for ***agement the previous year. If stepping on the ** once is good luck, then stepping on the ** twice is definitely unlucky. I never thought that the bottled water in this hotel is purchased by the same company as Park Inn, and they also use recycled bottled water. I did not underestimate the friendliness of Indian people, but I did overestimate the honesty of Indian capitalists. This hygienic point is not for the room, but for the drinking water. But what can be done, complaining to the ***ager is also perfunctory. So if Ctrip can't truthfully present the real reviews, it will be playing tricks on tigers.

When I went to Surat, I lived in TGB at first, but it was almost all vegetarian. I couldn't bear it. Later, I often lived in Gateway, this is the first time I live here. In short, the rooms are very new, and the rooms of the same grade are about the same size as the Gateway, but there are fewer facilities and the garden area is very limited. Locals still prefer parties that are engaged in weddings in the Gateway. The place is relatively biased, and taxis can only be booked through the front desk or online. Ordered without breakfast, then ate two meals. At checkout the front desk said that breakfast was included and there were two more. I regret it when I didn't check in.

The usual two are full, so I look for them temporarily. Because India is very messy, I don’t want to find too cheap, just choose This one, 478, is really not cheap. The downstairs are all dirty and messy small shops. The front desk of this hotel has to go up by elevator, whether it is on the second or third floor. Confirm the order for half a day, and then tell me that there is no restaurant. What the hell is breakfast? It is said that it is possible to order food to the room. The room is very simple, just like a guest house in the last century. There are no toiletries. Even the bath towels are sent temporarily. The socket does not have a switch and cannot be used. I do. Don't dare to undress and sleep. There is a window, but it is very high, facing a busy city, it is not open, the service is very good, so it is the only thing that is satisfied that the food is delivered, so I gave a tip, I don’t know how Ctrip cooperates, it is so expensive, and the supporting environment is like this Poor, in the same area in India, it is only about 100 yuan at most. I really feel sorry for my money. Can I refund if I am not satisfied?

This is more of an business than an leisure hotel, though ours was an vacation trip to Surat and we had booked 3 rooms. The ***ager ensured all our rooms are next to each other. Rooms were quite clean and bed linens were fresh. Overall ambience was above our expectations considering the hotel is an pocket friendly hotel. Breakfast spread was nice and food was tasty, even room service was pretty fast and whatever we ordered seemed fresh. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed in hotel king's heritage in September 2022 for 03 nights. Located near railway station and almost on main road, we found it highly satisfactory. The hotel deserves excellent grading on most of the parameters. Rooms were well maintained, neat and clean including good washroom in form of a glass cubicle with blinds for separation. Complementary breakfast was yummy with good choice of Gujarati and other Indian dishes. Breakfast was served in their restaurant on top floor having indoor as well as outdoor sitting options. Room Service can sometimes be slow but ok. Reception staff are polite and highly cooperative. Lunch and dinner can be had in the hotel restaurant otherwise you can have broad range of options on station road bang opposite the hotel where plenty of eateries exist. Overall very good experience

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Definitely in terms of service, it is the best. We booked 7 rooms as we were part of a wedding party and we put our British and European guests up here too - They all loved it. It's housed on the 3rd floor of a business hub in Adajan (one of the safest areas to stay in), which was better as it had a totally private entrance. As soon as we arrived, the staff took all of our luggage and safely placed it in our rooms. The rooms matched the photos we'd seen online so we knew what to expect. The view of the executive room were stunning as there is a Ganesh temple opposite and we had a direct view of the Tapi river. The food at the hotel was very tasty - I recommend the grilled cheese toasties with fries and any of the rice dishes because we ate quite a lot of them, but overall it was all great. There is a currency exchange downstairs and the hotel has a private car which we often hired; the driver is very good on the road and sensible too. The front desk was very helpful with our requirements and always ***aged to fulfil them because it was a wedding, we needed things like a tailor and hairdresser and car to pick up a cake and we ***aged to do it with ease because of the facilities. All the staff were pleasant and always smiling. My brother and his new wife stayed after the wedding and the room was beautifully decorated. The service we received here could have put any other 5* hotel to shame. And, of course, I would recommend.

Stayed in hotel king's heritage in September 2022 for 03 nights. Located near railway station and almost on main road, we found it highly satisfactory. The hotel deserves excellent grading on most of the parameters. Rooms were well maintained, neat and clean including good washroom in form of a glass cubicle with blinds for separation. Complementary breakfast was yummy with good choice of Gujarati and other Indian dishes. Breakfast was served in their restaurant on top floor having indoor as well as outdoor sitting options. Room Service can sometimes be slow but ok. Reception staff are polite and highly cooperative. Lunch and dinner can be had in the hotel restaurant otherwise you can have broad range of options on station road bang opposite the hotel where plenty of eateries exist. Overall very good experience
