The hotel is great, and the location is absolutely superb. It's right across from the Q1 building and the SkyPoint Observation Deck, and the tram stop is just downstairs, making it incredibly convenient. The service was also very good. My only minor complaint is that the room was a little dark.

The booked city view room is upgraded to an ocean view room although there should be no big difference because there's a tall tower blocking the view to the ocean.

very nice room and cleanliness. However, doing the laundry was a nightmare as there were no locks in the dryers, and my clothes were taken out and my drying time stolen by other guests. The hotel staff would not refund me and only offered to let me see the CCTV. What use is that? So much time and money spent on laundry that it made the day stressful.

Loved my stay at voco Gold Coast! The staff were all so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed. The hotel may not be the newest, but it’s very comfortable. The views are amazing, and having two outdoor pools means you can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset. The lobby is also beautiful and relaxing. I’d happily stay here again! 👐

This morning, when we checked out around 10 AM, we left 4 suitcases at the hotel lobby. When we returned to pick them up after 2 PM, we found that 3 out of the 4 suitcases were damaged. This is absolutely outrageous! If only one had been damaged, I might have thought it was an accident, but with three, I have reason to believe the hotel intentionally damaged them. This is truly appalling. Please report this to the hotel for immediate action.

📍Location: 5/5 ⭐ Right next to the G:link Surfers Paradise station and opposite Q1 SkyPoint, super convenient.
🛏️Room: 3/5 ⭐ Was given a room on a low floor, at the very end. City view was decent. Facilities were a bit dated, probably on par with a 3-star hotel in China.
🍳Breakfast: 2/5 ⭐ Quite basic, ingredients were average, and not really worth the price. I'd recommend eating at nearby restaurants instead.
Overall: The location is definitely the biggest highlight. Other aspects were just okay. At 1200 a night, the value for money is pretty mediocre.

It was school holidays and they had a fun activity for the children to find flamingoes and once they found all 5 of them, they get to choose a prize.
Breakfast was $30 per adult and $15 per child but they had no avocado which was sad.
We found dried blood on the toilet seat when we arrived and the tissue box was soaked in water. I gave this feedback to the reception team.
It is close to the beach and the Surfers Paradise stop on the light rail was just downstairs.
