Just a heads up because we love the hotel… We stayed last summer for about 2 months after a fire in our home, so we’re quite familiar with the hotel. This time we only needed accommodations for one night so we called the reservation service and were quoted $287 for one night. We were offered no discounts, so it was too expensive, and actually excessive, in comparison to other hotels in the area. However we like Inn at The Quay, so called reception directly. They quoted $173 for the night. Had we not called and been treated in a friendly manner (as usual), we would not have stayed. We won’t call the reservation line again. Great staff, great service, and had a wonderful winter evening reading by the fireplace in the lobby.

Stayed here before years ago, and that experience wasn't great, but since it been such a long time, I thought I'd give them another try as the reviews looked good in general. Checking in and checking out front desk staff was friendly and attentive and recognized my Diamond tier status right away. The cookies they have at check-in we're pretty tasty. The property while nothing to write home about, was clean and well kept, and felt safe overall. Parking spots were super narrow, so if you have a bigger car space maybe hard to come by on either side. Lobby and common areas and hallways all looked clean and up-to-date didn't notice any issues at all. Room was clean, and well kept. But the room did have two problems, 1. the bed was hard as a rock, and not very comfortable at all to me. I found the sofa bed (hide a bed) to be more comfortable than the king size regular bed 2. The light fixtures had a mixture of soft White, daylight bulbs making the room look off based on the light coloring. Breakfast had a good selection of the normal fare you'd find out a Comfort Inn cereal oatmeal fruit pastries etc. Warm food included eggs and potatoes, but the eggs were obviously powdered eggs and we're basically inedible I took one bite and couldn't stomach anymore, the potatoes were cold and rubbery, but at least they were edible and were actually real potatoes. Maybe they should have whoever prepares the cookies, be in charge of making breakfast, as the cookies were far superior to anything we had for breakfast there. I ended up with a better breakfast from Tim Hortons next door, while quite a bit less healthy, but at least it was actually hot and real food and had palatable coffee. Overall the hotel looks nice, and maybe suitable for some, for me it was only good for one night, but I probably won't return.

We paid $289 incl. Taxes had to pay an extra $22 for parking which I wasn't aware of. Room was clean other than coke stains on the wall and water in the sink not draining very good. The view was a concrete wall of the next building. 🥴

I stayed for about eight nights on two different occasions in March and April. The first in March was good - on the third floor facing the carpark which was the quietest side of the hotel. The staff on the whole were pleasant and helpful and rooms were taken care of when the notices were placed on the door. The second visit in April - not so much. I was on the ground floor, on the carpark side again but right by the entrance. Rooms were not serviced very well, restocking was hit and miss and bed making was minimal. The room above had very squeaky floorboards (or whatever they are) and disturbed my sleep. The curtains kept coming off the track and I couldn't close them properly - maintenance came and fixed them twice and then I sort of gave up. The room was fairly shabby but expected I suppose for a hotel. The most annoying thing was that hockey players were staying and gathered under the entrance canopy to drink and smoke. Each time they got louder and louder and in the end were shouting at the top of their voices, right outside my room. The last night it was horrendous and I tried to call reception to complain but there was no answer. Reception staff in the morning said I should have come out and rung the bell - something I was not prepared to do because the people were drunk. Apparently the last crowd in a limousine playing loud music at past midnight were not guests of the hotel but had been picked up from there.

We recently stayed at the Days Inn Langley location. Do not let the age of this hotel turn you off...it's well maintained - some areas show some wear and tear, but the rooms are large and the staff is exceptional. They were very accommodating to the group we were with and always pleasant to deal with! Wouldn't hesitate to book here again!

This is a fine 3.5* hotel, with great service, solid complimentary breakfast, comfortable beds, quiet rooms, small but good fitness room, and attentive housekeeping. Parking is easy. There's lots of restaurants, shops, grocery stores nearby. For price paid, I would come back here again. You're 40 minutes to the heart of Vancouver but the cost differential is huge.

We had no idea where we were going in Vancouver when we got there, but found a reasonably priced Best Western in Pitt Meadows, which turned out to be a great location - and not hard to find or get around. Reina greeted us as we checked in, and we were thrilled with the quiet room, comfortable bed, pet friendly atmosphere and areas around for dogs to do their business. Easy in and out! Super quiet room, and loved the windows that opened at the top and when you closed them, made the room sound proof. We stayed 2 nights, but could have stayed more. Only thing we didn't like was the traffic along the main highway. Thank you to the fabulous housekeeping crew - met 2 lovely ladies! And to the front desk staff.

GGuest UserFree breakfast The pool has a children's slide that is perfect for kids. The neighborhood is very close to the shopping center Hotel environment is very new, service is very good recommend
AAnonymous UserAdvantages: The decoration can be called a 4-star hotel, the traffic location is convenient, quiet, safe, and the front desk service is in place. At this price, it can be said to be cost-effective
Disadvantages: no refrigerator, no indoor swimming pool, a few hairs on the bed, in addition, the air conditioner of this hotel is adjusted to 32 degrees and it blows cold air. This is the case twice, and finally complained about the parking lot that the hotel cooperates with, and clearly told the front desk about the license plate I also confirmed that the license plate number is correct. The hotel system entered my license plate number. The parking lot still put a warning on my windshield the next day saying that this is a hotel parking space. Fortunately, there is no ticket or tow away.
GGuest UserMy elderly mother & I had to make an emergency trip to BC due to the passing of a family member. We made a last minute reservation for a King suite. The rooms are very spacious with a small kitchenette. The bed & pillows were very comfortable and while the living room furniture was dated to was clean & ok for our needs. We did have an issue with the heater in the bedroom but when we reported it to the staff it was repaired right away. Overall everything was very clean and comfortable and the staff were great. Would recommend!!
CCHUNMEIThe hotel is in Surrey, far from Vancouver, and the bus is also convenient. The entire suite is large, kitchen and living room, suitable for self-driving family living, living room sofa bed.
SshuturmaoWe had a solid experience at the hotel, having enjoyed the 24 hour gym, consistently friendly service, and large room packed with amenities such as a mini-fridge and a microwave. Thoughtful details like including hand sanitizers and sanitation wipes in the rooms and providing free bottles of water were unexpected and much appreciated. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful experience!
Don’t answer the phone when calling. Couldn’t find the reservation and not helpful at all. Stay away from this hotel. Had to find another place to stay late at night. Avoid this place. Absolutly rude front desk. The reviews here are misleading.
GGuest UserWe picked the hotel because of its affordability and the ok reviews. It’s a standard two star hotel. Parking was free and just outside. The room itself was small and smelled bad. There clearly had been people smoking in our room at some point previously. The tv didn’t work (they rectified this by the second night). The room was dirty. There were squished spiders on the bathroom door that had been there a while. The sheets were stained with make up and something that looked like blood. Some of the pillows had clearly been in existence for 30+ years and needed chucking! The first night, there was a random man stood outside our hotel room when we arrived at about 10:30. When we went in our room he just walked off. He didn’t work there and I don’t even think he was a bore guest. The second night, when we returned to our room, the key card no longer worked. I told reception and were given access to the room. I think they would have given us access to anyones room if we had provided their number instead. The security is definitely in need of improvement. It’s a suitable place to get your head down, but I would only recommend spending the exact amount of time that you intend to sleep at the hotel and no more.
GGuest UserPrivate house in quiet neighborhood. Friendly Chinese owner. Something different from western hospitality, but with good intentions. It was known that it is a shared bathroom/toilet, which, however, somewhat affects the rating. Use light sparingly by not plugging nightlights into sockets. Dining room area with refrigerator and limited cutlery, but with sink and hot water. Shoes must be taken off in the hall at the front door, slippers are offered by the landlord for use indoors. No easy door PIN codes, which hinders quick entry and exit, easy to make mistakes, 6 and 8 numbers and/or symbols to key in. If we don't find something better in the area for our next trip, we will book here again, so we could get on with it.
