Location is really good. The hotel is just within a 10-minute walk from Gateway station. Besides, there’s a supermarket and several cafeterias nearby. The front desk and staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are cozy and super clean. Breakfast is standard continental breakfast.
The drawbacks are that there’s no bottled water and slippers in the rooms, and that the hotel is very close to the road. Noise from outside may be disturbing in some rooms.
Overall experience is pretty good. Decent 4 out of 5.

Stayed here in June, and had a number of issues. I made a mistake when I booked, and I own that, but they charged me for a whole night as "per their policy" when I did get there and ha to add another night they charged me for that night and a separate security deposit. When I tried to reach out to them about the deposit not being refunded I was unable to reach the front desk and had to do a dispute. They said that the seutiy deposit was the overcharge for the cancelled night. So now I have three charges for two nights worth of stay. When I did check in late in the evening (think midnight) the person behind the desk wasn't that helpful and took multiple tries to get everything right. hotel HVAC unit was really loud, but it was after midnight and I let it go. Finally when I got up in the morning it to an act of congress to get a copy of not only the bill from last night, but also for the misbooked night as well. I travel here to work with a number of customers. this place will never see my money again

The hotel room looked OK to begin with, however the first thing I always do when checking in to a hotel is check for bed bugs. Thank God I did!! Checked both mattresses, and sure enough found multiple live bugs as well as LOTS of signs. They did give us our money back with no fight, but would never go here ever again.

We went to Vancouver for a concert and needed to be out of downtown to cross boarder for early ball game, stayed here and it worked so perfect for our plans would definitely stay again.

What was supposed to be a connecting flight in Vancouver turned into an unplanned layover on a very busy weekend. The hotel had one room left and Robbie, our night time front desk clerk, was amazing! He lifted our spirits and went out of his way to help our family out. The room was clean and comfortable. Huge thanks to helping us make the most of a crappy situation.

Great stay! The front desk was great and Accommodating, very helpful and polite. The room was great and quiet. Wish the breakfast was earlier in the day... The amenities were excellent and it was what I wanted for my trip.

We were so late to check in around 9:30pm, and I asked if we can stay a little bit longer, and yes they allowed us until 12:30pm instead the usual 11am check out.. breakfast was really good, amazing pancakes and sausages. We love the coffee fresh and lot of creams to choose from.

Stayed at this hotel for a visit to Vancouver. I had some booking difficulties that were GREATLY helped by the front desk employee Robbie. If it were not for him our stay would have been significantly different. He made a huge difference. This hotel is centrally located in Surrey. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast, was excellent. There was a wide choice of hot and cold food items and the breakfast dining room was very relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel to travellers making their way to Surrey.

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with my recent experience at Days Inn by Wyndham Surrey While I never had the chance to stay at the hotel, my interaction with the staff and the subsequent billing issue has left a negative impression. On September 2, 2023, at 6:10 AM, I called the hotel front desk to inquire about a charge that appeared on my bank account. I had initially booked a stay from September 1 to September 3 through AMA Travels but decided to cancel a week before, also through AMA Travels, upon realizing the hotel's inconvenient location. However, I was shocked to find a charge from Days Inn by Wyndham Surrey on my account. The front desk man I spoke to about this issue was extremely rude and unprofessional. While I can understand that the hotel may not have the authority to reverse charges for reservations made through a third-party platform, I expected at least a courteous response. Instead, I felt as though my concerns were dismissed, and I was treated with disdain. To resolve the issue, I also tried to contact Wyndham Customer Care Billing support, but was passed from one agent to another without any resolution. This experience only added to my frustration and dissatisfaction. Because of these negative interactions, I am left with no choice but to call my credit card company for a charge dispute. Due to the lack of professionalism and the unresolved billing issue, I find it difficult to recommend this hotel.

The room is quite expensive, for a small room we occupy. The night receptions is not approachable. The lady day receptionist is forgetful.Though Sukhmani is good I can say overall rating for this place is 3.

This is a very down market place even though the day rate was, by our experience, rather high. Relatively inexpensive compared with downtown Vancouver and near Light Rail station. Not much else to say except Vancouver is a very expensive place to visit.
