We stayed here after a ski trip to Jay Peak. It was only 35 minutes away.
The property was charming. Quite the find!
The room had character and super clean.
The staff was friendly and fluent in English.
Parking was easy as there was a separate parking lot.
The town is cute and very walkable, with a grocery store 1/2 mile away.
I would definitely return again in the future.
While we loved the property and would return, there are 3 items to be aware of:
1. We stayed in room #4, which had the king bed on the 2nd floor and the bath on the first floor, which meant a careful trip down the stairs in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. I had brought a nightlight so this helped.
2. Since there isn't any carpeting or heavy drapes (a plus for allergies), there isn't much sound absorption. Our neighbor was in and out of their room at 6am and it was super loud, to the point that I thought that they had come into our room.
3. Not hotel related, but if you are coming from Jay Peak, be aware that the closest border crossing is only open 8am-4pm.
