P.I. is our 'go to' choice because the standard is the same (good) wherever we are. Kathy, your night team member, was always ready with a smile. This visit, our key card failed late one night, Kathy was straight on it and came up with us to make sure the re-coded one would work. Kathy is always very happy to help. We were impressed as, during the expected floods, Kathy came into work way ahead of her shift to make sure that she got there. A team player to be sure. Thank you for looking after us!

We took advantage of an autumn offer,for a one night stay as my husband and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We had a super time from the moment we checked in until we checked out the following morning. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, the spa pool and facilities were lovely. Our evening meal was delicious. Our room was clean and very comfortable. There was a lovely bottle of wine and a plate decorated with delicious chocolates on too. The self serve breakfast was very enjoyable too. I would rate our time there an excellent 5/5. Thank you all for making our short time there a very pleasant experience.

Hotel is not in a bad location for trips out… But the hotel needs a lot of improvements! The breakfast buffet you are left waiting for them to replenish food items , you have to keep asking staff where are the cups for tea as none replaced there was queues because of the location of the toaster, be careful if you ask for water to be replaced in room as I was charged but then got a refund after complaining..the executive room was good but I know the standard rooms are not great. The staff were good but there needs better organisation. The pool area dated and no set time they seem to pick and choose open close times. We had quite a few issues not all mentioned here which we told reception about we was not happy and noticed other customers complaining.. we would not stay again and certainly not 4 star 3 at most .. can’t comment on spa treatments as did not use but looking at the spa I’m sure there are better ones around. Golf course 9 hole in good condition but outside hotel area need tidying up bit scruffy.

Friday 17 Nov at the Townhouse was a very pleasant surprise! A new band was playing and they called themselves Trios - I wasn't expecting such a great sound from just 3 musicians; they didn't need any other instruments and the audience loved it and so did my friends and I. Very engaging band. The atmosphere was gorgeous, and friendly staff at bar and at the door.. We are certainly coming here again as it was announced that they are at the Townhouse on Friday 24 November and on stage 11pm! What a treat.. :)

This is a hotel I definitely recommend. I went in the cold season, but the room temperature is always just right and comfortable. The hotel is kind.
