Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Suzhou

Can not fault this hotel. An excellent location *if* you are visiting the Shizishan area or SND in general. Could realistically be used as a base for the entire Suzhou too, given its proximity to two metro lines & the SND tram. Especially for those who don't want to be right in the busy city center & want somewhere a bit more chilled (I chose this location as I used to live nearby so know the area well). Modern, convenient, friendly staff, breakfast, mall, shops & restaurants nearby. No faults here.

This hotel has really gone down since I last stayed here. It’s badly in need a renovation to bring it back up to modern standards. Very old and worn down now. Staff were great and helpful. Breakfast was ok Will probably look to stay somewhere else next time I’m Suzhou.

A decent hotel, though quite far out from the main action. The breakfast buffet a notable highlight. Shower great. No real complaints though the smell of nicotine from previous occupiers not a strong selling point.

During my recent stay, I deeply experienced the hotel's excellent service quality. The service attitude of the chief concierge, Jacky, was particularly outstanding. He was attentive and thoughtful, which made people feel warm. From the moment I checked in, I felt at home. What's more surprising is that the room has been upgraded and equipped with a comfortable bathtub, which greatly relaxes the tired body and mind. The overall stay experience is very good, and I highly recommend it to all travelers!

This newly built hotel is just a kilometre away from the beautiful ancient town of Luzhi in the suburbs of Suzhou. The front desk staff are very efficient and they spoke English . The room we had was enormously large compared to Holiday Inn hotels in Europe . The price also includes breakfast and the hotel allowed my 14 year old son to have one as well. All in all, very good choice if you want to visit Luzhi . Remember , you will have to take a taxi to Suzhou centre as the hotel is quite far and I don’t think there’s a direct bus .

The price/performance ratio is good, the room is clean and tidy, the lighting is very warm, and there is a home feeling. I especially like the design of the chaise longue. I also like the design of the bathroom, which has separate shower and toilet, dry and wet areas, which is quite practical.

Because I am a gold member of InterContinental, I chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Chengdong when passing through Zhangjiagang during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays. Overall, I was very satisfied. The day of check-in was the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the location was not close to tourist attractions, so there were not many guests that night. The car could be parked in the inner courtyard behind the hotel. The space was very empty. It would be better if it could be equipped with charging piles (I took a tram). The hotel's service level has maintained the high standards of the Intercontinental Group. Children's toiletries and evening restaurant snack experience coupons are provided to the children when they check in. In addition, the lobby is also equipped with toys and chess and cards that children like, and the front desk also provides fruits before leaving. Overall, It is said that it is the most satisfactory among the many Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed at. I will choose it again next time I pass by.

I came to Suzhou for a few days of leisure and vacation. She also gave me a small gift when I left. The breakfast is also delicious, but the replenishment is a bit slow. Many places are empty and have not been replenished, but it does not affect the experience of this stay
