Interesting and lovely boutique hotel linked to the museum. Great for a weekend getaway from Shanghai ~1.5hrs drive. Service was great, nothing too much trouble.

This hotel and experience exceeded my expectations. It’s an eas, less-than-one-hour-drive from Shanghai. It’s located at eastern edge of the beautiful Lili Watertown which is one of the few authentic and well-preserved ones in the Suzhou area. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful and unique, not like anywhere else I have ever stayed. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help with food, cars etc. I definitely look forward to returning in the future.

It has been a great stay! The hotel room got both the modern and traditional vibe. Staff members are very helpful and friendly. The food is delicioue and the game room is fun. We enjoy the walk at the museu a lot, where there are so much to see. Make sure you book in advance as they are always busy.

What a gem!! Authentic old rooms in a very modern hotel. wonderful room service, restaurant and museum. Wil definately be returning regularly to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet and relaxing location.

This is truly a magical place to stay. Visually stimulating, there is so much to see in the corridors, courtyards, reception and even the toilets of the hotel that you would never have to leave. It’s just mesmerising and so much better because so much of it is built and decorated from reclaimed and salvaged pieces from around China from times gone by. The service in the hotel and restaurant is second to none, every member of staff we encountered before arriving and during our stay could not have been any more helpful and pleasant. It’s an experience to see this beautifully constructed hotel, everyone should go.

I like this hotel very much. I fell in love with it at first sight when I saw the pictures online, and I liked it even more after seeing it in person. I was very satisfied with the details of the room, from the color to the quality details. I also had dinner and breakfast on the first floor of the hotel. Overall, it is definitely a place I will come back to if I have the chance.

This hotel is amazing. It is the friendliest to dogs among the many pet-friendly hotels I have stayed in! From the check-in front desk guy and girl to every employee in the hotel, they all love dogs from the bottom of their hearts...Dogs are allowed to enter the restaurant and museum in the hotel! Just for this reason, it is a five-star review The owner of the hotel is an American who is very approachable and has a 12-year-old golden retriever. The entire decoration is Chinese style and incorporates some of his collections collected over the years. It may not be in line with our aesthetics from the perspective of Chinese people, but if you experience it carefully, you can also understand what Chinese style is like from a different cultural perspective...The bedding in the room is very comfortable, and the food in the restaurant is also very delicious😋In addition, the gym facilities are very complete, good reviews! This hotel deserves a good compliment. Before entering the hotel, the waiter came to pick up the luggage enthusiastically, and the front desk introduced it very patiently and professionally. Very unique hotel, very close to Lili Ancient Town, the hotel itself is like a museum, the service is very good, truly pet-friendly, dogs can also go to the hotel museum. The hotel's brother specially added WeChat and made an appointment with us to take us and introduce us to the hotel's culture. The hotel's restaurant is also very delicious. I also met the hotel owner's big golden retriever.

The hotel is next to Liuyue Museum. It has the same style as the museum and all the facilities are old objects. Even the elevators are filled with old screens. Each floor has a theme. The third floor has a bed surround theme, and the second floor has a door god theme. The most satisfying thing is that the hotel comes with free museum tickets, and there is no limit on the number of visits during the stay.

The hotel next to the museum is great. The rooms are very unique. The standard room has two 1.8-meter beds. During my stay, I met the boss of the museum and the hotel. 👍🏻
