Because taxi can not go into the Tongli ancient town, so we have to walk and carry baggage. But the hotel is good, the boss very nice!

Friendly owner and nice place. It's a little far from the tram stop but super close to 退思园 - and the town is really small anyway! Would recommend to other solo travellers for a night's stay.

The room is very clean and well maintained. It is very convenient to go out and eat in the scenic area. There are many delicious restaurants within 10 meters. The biggest highlight is that it is in the scenic area. You don't have to rush to enter the scenic area for free early in the morning, saving the ticket money. The rest is average. It is a loft renovation, depressing, and the water is very small.

I don't recommend this hotel. The air conditioner leaked water for half the night. It was raining heavily outside and drizzling inside. The sound of the air conditioner was very loud. The owner just used a basin to catch the water. The sound of the water hitting the basin was very loud. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. When I was taking a shower, the sliding door suddenly slid open and I couldn't close it at all. The hot water was not adjusted well. The same position was sometimes cold and sometimes hot. I checked the electric mosquito coils and sprayed floral water at night. When I woke up the next day, I had 7 bites on my body. The mosquitoes were very poisonous. I really don't recommend staying in Tongli Ancient Town. Stay outside and come back in the morning. There are really a lot of mosquitoes😭

According to the plan, we only stayed in Dongli ancient town for 1 day. But because of the travel reason, we stayed here for 1 more day. Dongli is the place that impressed me the most in this trip, not too crowded like other ancient towns, and there are still many native people here so I really experienced the life of Chinese people.
