Scholars Hotel Suzhou Pingjiangfu
4.7/54648 Reviews
Guanqian Street/Pingjiang Street/Downtown
The gated hotel is a co-op made up of restored and new buildings, a restaurant, and a spa, but nothing over 3 stories. There are numerous restaurants once you leave the grounds -- go west. Get the breakfast buffet, it is worth it! The tourist center is a block west and next to the Grand Canal. Go there, and ask the nice young lady how to get around. The hotel will give you change for the bus. The police and information will help you in the metro. Be sure to walk up and down the canal, enjoy people watching, especially the young ladies dressed and made up in beautiful period piece costumes. You can rent one yourself if you wish to participate. Most of the tourist sights are within walking distance, including the Humble Administer's Garden and the sanpan ride on the canal. The hotel also has a nightly cruise sign up. If you want to see a panda, you'll have to go to the Taihu Wetland Park -- it's about 30 km from the hotel. You can get there by cab or public transportation.

Shi Road/Shantang business district
The hotel is located on the Shantang Street Pedestrian Street, which is quiet in a bustling city. The environment is very good, with greenery everywhere and quaint scenery. It is very close to Metro Line 2. The first thing you see when you enter the hotel is the fragrance of books. The front desk clerk enthusiastically helped us check in, and a waiter took us to the room. When you enter the room, you feel very satisfied with the layout. There is a one-bedroom apartment with a balcony. The TV in the living room is very large. The brand of bath products is very good. Afternoon tea is also provided. The night view of the cruise ship is beautiful at night. I would like to especially mention Master Yang who sent us to the cruise ship entrance. He was very enthusiastic and the breakfast was rich. In short, Suzhou Shantang Shuxiang Mansion, I will come again next time!

Jinxi Ancient Town area
The environment of Jinxi Shufang Shuxiang Mansion Hotel is so beautiful! The green pastoral scenery, with small bridges, flowing water, green vines and flowers, can take beautiful photos in every scene. The hotel is designed in Chinese style, elegant, exquisite and beautiful. The hotel staff is also warm and sincere. They provide iced sour plum soup to relieve the heat, mung bean and lily soup to warm the stomach, and introduce the surrounding attractions in detail. They also provide beautiful and clean Hanfu, embroidered fans and umbrellas for guests to take pictures for free. In the lobby, I also saw the cute and well-behaved Corgi Peanut, which is really cute and well-behaved! The hotel is also pet-friendly. There were not many people staying on Tuesday. Our dog was running around on the hotel lawn and yard, and he had a lot of fun! The hotel restaurant is also good, with fresh ingredients and delicious cooking. The hotel is very close to Shanghai, and we will definitely go again.
Kunshan Shiqi Yinshuxiang Mansion Hotel

Kunshan Dianshan Lake Scenic Area
Three big families and three small families went there together on the weekend during the winter vacation. It is about 50 minutes' drive from Shanghai, quiet in the middle of a bustling city. The rooms are clean, the service is friendly, and there is a private hot spring in the courtyard. It is a good place for a weekend parent-child leisure trip. We will go there again when spring comes and the flowers bloom!
