I stayed here with my mother during our trip around Iceland. This was our last night before returning to Reykjavik and it was hands down my favourite place we stayed. The house is lovely, the room was spacious and warm and the bed very comfy. What really makes this accommodation stand out is its location, right on the beach with beautiful views across the sea. It's very remote so there's no light polution and we were able to see the northern lights. There is no TV or wifi available which didn't bother me as I was more interested in enjoying the scenery and just chill. Breakfast is available between 8-9am and all the guests sit around one big table which was nice as we ended up chatting and sharing our travel experiences. If I come back to Iceland I would definitely want to stay at this magical place again.

Need clearer communication prior to arrival as we didn't have cell serve. Wanted breakfast, but didn't happen even though we requested it when we made reservation. It was a Sunday so nothing was open in Hofso. If you want/need food, I recommend you bring your own.

The guesthouse is an amazing setting. Quiet and serene with birdlife all around. A great escape.

This guest house is nice and clean in general. Two issues: 1) It is hard to access for people who don't know this area. Google map provides house location but no road info for navigation. Suggest owner to provide driving direction in description, particularly provides GSP point of drive load from route 76. 2) The house has too much flying insects in bedroom in summer.

This property is 3-5 km off the main road. The house is lovely and peaceful. The property amazing! It sits on the water where a river flows into the fjord. Watching the birds was incredible! Highly recommend for nature lovers! We hope to visit again!
