I was in the hotel in one of the bedrooms on the first floor. First of all, I'd like to say this is common on the Bulgarian coast but the workers are not paid well at all. They are treated like disposable napkins all for the profit of the owners. The kitchen standards seemed to be FAR below what you would expect for the price paid. The cleanliness of the room was good. It seems like the people they would hire are sometimes criminals because I saw them get aggressive.

Me and my family stayed at Sineva for a 10 day stay. The positives The bar staff are a credit to the hotel, very friendly and approachable, the restaurant staff work very hard and are also a credit to the hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel is good, our room was tidied daily but not really cleaned to a high standard. The negatives The pools are cold water and left dirty with sand, hair, objects settled at the bottom. I never saw any member of staff clean the pool or sweep water from the slippery floor during my time here. The life guard does nothing but sit on his chair in a shaded area out of sight of both pools all day. Absolutely useless! The food is edible but nothing has been enjoyable. The combinations they serve do not really go together. I'm vegetarian and have very limited options. The restaurant is not a relaxing environment but feels more like a self serve cafe. It is clean and the staff work very hard to ensure meal times all run smoothly. The hotel in general needs some care and attention as it's looking a little neglected. The only place to relax at night within the hotel is the pool bar. There is no entertainment during the day or the evening. There are a few restaurants a short walk away from the hotel but nowhere we found excited to try. Other than that there are a lot of supermarkets, waffle shops and ice cream parlours, but no small bars to just sit, relax and enjoy a drink in the evening. We walked a steep hilly walk to the main ***** but it's full of tacky souvenir shops and restaurants and not much else. Taxi is 30 lev to Sunny Beach, the biggest waste of money and time, Action Aqua park was okay, taxi 20 lev each way, and Nessebar taxi 30 lev each way. This resort was not value for money and we will not be returning to Bulgaria in the future.

What to say about this hotel. When I booked this for my family I only had pre covid reviews to go on, which looked great on the whole but as we all know the world has changed so I knew I couldn't rely on them. If I'm to list the positives it would be that the hotel is clean, housekeeping everyday and the staff are polite and are doing their best. There's a fridge in the room. It's also very quiet in its location and really close to the beach which offers parasailing, banana rides etc. There are a couple of pleasant bars located on the sand which are enjoyable and very reasonably priced. The staff will assist with getting you a reliable taxi, can recommend Christoph - great taxi man. It's about 25lev from this hotel to the main Sunny Beach where you will find lots of bars and restaurants, 35 lev's to the aquapark at nesebar (brilliant btw), 40 lev's to nesebar old town (worth a visit). The negatives are that we paid for all inclusive as I was travelling with teenagers who are envitably hungry or thirsty every 7 minutes and I just didn't want the hassle of dealing with this! DO NOT DO THIS the food at this hotel is inedible!!!!!! Plain pasta for breakfast?, watery scrambled egg, hotdog sausages and salamis and cheese. Lunch and dinner was soup (meatball soup?) Looking like something from the Indiana's Temple of Doom. If you like shnitzel then you are in for a treat as it's readilly available with every meal along with cucumber and tomato! Including breakfast. That's all folks. I don't want to sound like I'm moaning without cause but even the staff are bewildered by the selection. The meat is either mince meat or mince meat meatballs and on the whole really not an enjoyable experience. The beer on tap is ok but a very cheap one 3% and there are only ever small plastic disposable glasses to drink from. There does not appear to be any management in the hotel which would explain why the rest of the staff use the main reception as a lounge area to gather and watch TV in the evening. The latest you'll get an alcoholic drink is 11pm as the neighbours will arrive shouting that everyone be quiet. My suggestion is to eat out and buy your drinks and bring them in as it's fairly cheap and enjoy yourself.

We are currently on day 5 of a 10 day holiday … yes the entertainment is so interesting that I’m writing this review instead! Food - it’s obviously very local and not at all geared for international guests. Nothing seems to go together, and I honestly think they pick the first 10 bags they find in the freezer and cook those, whatever they may be. There are more cucumbers and tomatoes than I ever wished to see, there are wholes trays of each at every meal, including breakfast. Spaghetti bolognaise doesn’t have any meat in it, the breakfast consists of dried out sausage and bacon. If you enjoy pancakes, and a long wait you are in luck as that’s that only thing you can guarantee. Most the food is tasteless mush filled with unappetising food. Pool - This is really lovely and the saving grace of this holiday for us. Our kids are 10 and 12 and very capable swimmers - I can only thank god for that because the lifeguard seems to try and sit as far away from the pool as possible. He wanders around at a snails pace, there are 2 pools, 1 approx 1m deep and the other 1.7m. He sits at the side of the 1m metre pool with all of his equipment at the top of a set of stairs on the other side of the pool. If you were drowning, you would be dead before he even got his kit ready. That is provided he hasn’t gone to breakfast/lunch. The only thing he seems to do is to put some of the umbrellas down towards the end of his shift. The pool itself is filthy, when you go into the water you can see all the rubbish floating in the water. Entertainment - it’s woeful! The singer only knows around 6 songs from the 60’s, which are repeated every night, when he can be bothered, as most the time he puts on a backing track and disappears. There’s a games room which looks really good until you realise there’s no balls for the mini golf, the table tennis room is locked, the pin ball machine is broke and the table football is advertised as 1lev but is actually 2lev - I don’t mind paying, and have, but the price on the sign is not the price they charge and when asked we were just told that the sign must be out of date. The entertainment is over by 9pm, so it’s a very long night. The pool bar is the only place open after 9, with no real entertainment other than playing music off your own phone. If you are disabled then I would re-consider. My dad has COPD and has a scooter to get around, but then when we arrived, we quickly realised that you cannot what anywhere using it - luckily they are on the ground floor so have managed to get around without it, but if you can’t walk then this would be a big issue. There are ramps in reception, but nowhere else in the hotel. My brother in law is blind and today all of the tables in the restaurant have been moved so he couldn’t get in and out without difficulty - he did it, but with a big grumble from the singer as his equipment was being knocked by his white cain. The waiters and bar staff are amazing and nothing is too much troubl
