Stopped for a night on my way to Austria (11/12.09). Very good location - close to downtown but quiet. Nice beer hall next door (as a hotel guest you get either coffee or shot of Schnaps on the house). Easy to park - directly underneath (7€ for 24 hours). Smooth and efficient check-in, the gentleman working there could easily work at a 5 star hotel. Rooms are the same as in all B&B but sufficient and, what is very important, have AC. Can’t fault anything, unbeatable for the price.

Quaint little hotel tucked away from the town center but close enough to walk to it. Close to all other hotels and restaurants too! Rooms are nice, clean and has fantastic balcony view. Service from staff was impeccable. They were very accommodating and kind. The best of all was the breakfast. Me and my entire family have officially concluded that their breakfast was hands down the best hotel breakfast we’re ever had. Dont forget to check in first before booking activities. They give discounts for them!

This is the best hotel if you are planning to visit Castle of Neuschwanstein. Make sure you booke the main building. We booked the Jagerhaus by mistake. It is a seperate building just a few steps away but the decor is very old style and nothing like the modern ”MAIN” building. We were able to discuss with the front desk and upgrade for a small price to the main building. Breakfast was very nice in the main building.....another reason to stay there.....what you would expect from a boutique 5 star in the area.
The spa (pool and sauna) is fantastic. Amazing view of outside while enjoying either.

The breakfast is plentiful and the service is very good. The beauty of the front desk, handsome guy, left a deep impression, hahaha! We booked a lake view room, the room was big enough and the view was beautiful. There is also an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, indoors or a heated swimming pool, facilities and equipment are really very good.

Very good location in the middle of the place, very good transport connection.
Renoved 3-Bett-Business-Zimmer. Very clean and conveniently equipped.
The soap container in the bathroom at the washing venue was unfortunately completely empty, so we had to take the shower gel out of the shower. We did not object to this, but only informed it when checking out.
A water cooker with instant coffee and/or tea would have been nice.
The breakfast was very delicious and rich.
The staff was courteous, but rather distant. We had forgotten to log in to breakfast two of our children who stayed elsewhere nearby. We ask to apologize for this many times, but especially our children were somewhat scared when the competent lady responded somewhat inappropriately to it in the breakfast room.
Unfortunately, the hotel was not bookable without breakfast, what we would otherwise have done. For our smallest who paid breakfast, the buffet is not worth it anyway, because it hardly eats anything. The ‘seam order' is not likely to have been seriously affected.
The next time we will avoid competing again. All was fine there a week ago.
However, a comparison was worth it.

A cheap and good opportunity to stay in Neu-Ulm. In 15-20 minutes is the Ulmer city centre walking distance.
The hotel's equipment is moderately spartanian,but it's enough for a short stay. It's also very clean in the rooms. We're always happy to come back.
If you arrive with the car, you can enjoy a lot of free parking on the Allgäuer Ring!

We celebrated the 80th birthday of our aunt at the Hotel Zum Schwarzen Rider in the context of a lunch. The location of the hotel (direction from the motorway) is ideal for outside guests. The atmosphere of the guest rooms (we are sitting in a rustic neighborhood) is very beautiful. All staff were more than attentive. In particular, the exceptional operation or perfect service by Sophia has made lunch at the Flair Hotel a successful party.

We had three nights at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was really nice with a large variety of breads, cold-cuts, eggs, sausage etc. The beds really comfy. Nice large bathroom. But. Our room faced a large park where the locals liked to hang out - and with the weather being really nice that resulted in some smaller parties/groups of people having out. And they were not exactly quiet, unfortunately. Since there is no air-con in the rooms it must become pretty unbearable in the summer when the windows have to stay shut because of the noice from the park... Ask for a room facing away from the park......

We can also recommend the hotel only on condition. The only advantage I see is the proximity to the tram and the fair. Then the negative comes. We had to change the first room because it smelled after cigarette smoke and the room was dust (I am house dust allergic). In the second room it smelled after cigarette smoke too. However, it was still ”supportable” so we kept the room. Breakfast we stopped because the rooms were too full and we had no room for breakfast every day. Breakfast was not really rich for the price. You couldn't really sleep in the rooms because the beds are really hard and you feel the vibrations of the tram rather strongly in the ground floor. Furthermore, we have been quite mad, Because you have seen a high dust layer on the tape edge. Yesterday the room was not made, which I also considered a proof of poverty. We had already left the room at 8:30, so it can't be at the time, that the room was made nowhere. All in all, the hotel leaves almost everything to wish from an hotel. However, the connection to the city and the fair area is quite good for (very) short trips.

- stay in the sunshine station for a fair visit - cheap to reach by car, but due to the location in a business area restaurants and others are not accessible by foot - attractive clean rooms without tape floor - that is happy to Allergic - Every room has a balcony - the smoker is happy ;-) - Unfortunately no deskchair to work on the desk. On the seat that is available, you sit too deep to work on the desk. - Kiss and cover rather by the cheap variety. There is better! - Free minibar that is filled daily (beer, water, cola, juice) - Very good breakfast in the 5th floor with a very good selection. Other hotels can cut a dish! Eggs and omelets are prepared freshly on request and a delicious sauce/cheese/backware selection - unfortunately only Burgers, pizza, snacks and salads in the restaurant. These were good, though not exceptional - the service is trying to dine but overloaded - only one force for about 25 guests and in the kitchen probably only one person. - On one night we wanted to drink a drink at the bar in the EC. The spirituose selection was very desperate, but there was a Remy, unfortunately not much. The cognac was presented in a glass of a drink - an absolute NoGo! There's still a lot of air upstairs. - To staff: always friendly, without being impeccable. - Concluded: if it works better in the restaurant and bar, there's also 5 points next time.

GGuest UserI arrived early and parked in the garage below the hotel. The room was already available so they let me check in. I think the Leonardo Hotel is fairly new. Everything was quite clean and fresh. You need your room key to activate the elevator to go to your floor. I thought this was very clear but so many of my fellow guests were confused and I had to explain. Perhaps this would be better clarified during check in. Through helping other people, I also found out that the key only works for your floor and you can't access other floors. During my three night stay, I rode the elevator with quite a few confused people. There is bottled water in the room when you check in and it's complimentary. In the bathroom, the soap, shampoo and body wash are all one bottle/formulation. There is no conditioner. I didn't have the breakfast at the hotel but I did have dinner at the restaurant one night. It was good but I thought it was funny that I tried to order beer and they were out of a lot of it, as well as some of the menu items. The kimchi and hummus were delicious, and the signature drink was very interesting. My colleague and I needed a place to work on our computers one day and this hotel doesn't really have common/lobby space in which to do that because the restaurant area is closed outside of mealtimes. We sat in one of the conference rooms but a staff member chased us out. That's one improvement that I think this hotel could make (a place to sit and work and plug in a laptop), especially because it seemed like we were not the only business trip people there.

GGuest UserAn easy seven-minute walk from the train station is the comfortable and delightful Hotel Sonne Fussen. You will have to cross a two-lane road, but there are crosswalks at either end. There are actually two entrances. If you go to the right-side facing Sonne, there is a convenient door entering the hotel. The other door is on the people street of Reichenstrasse. In between the entrances are several smaller stores. There is a convenient parking garage in the lower floor. There is a room where you do have access to a washing machine and dryer found in the garage area. The reception staff, like the hotel, are friendly and accommodating. Don’t forget to ask for your “Fussen Card” which will give you a free bus ride up to Neuschwanstein and back. The busses are right by the train station. Our room was indeed very clean and pleasant. We had a balcony room facing the mountains. The only downside was the lack of privacy to one side. The balcony is nice though and we did use it The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was large enough. We did like the soft-carpet in the room. By the desk was a large picture of the library museum that was once in a Benedictine monastery and later became City Hall. If you have time, visiting that museum is well worth the money and time. Our two days at Sonne’s we elected not to have our room cleaned. A box of towels was kindly left at our front door. Sonne’s was the only hotel to do this in our month long journey through Bavaria. The hotel is decorated with interesting pieces of art. Some of the pieces could be in a movie. Breakfast is a highlight. The staff takes superb effort to make your breakfast most enjoyable. There are all sorts of items to choose from. You will not starve. I did like the sausages and croissants. Most people, if not all, come to Fussen for the castle. We found the village of Fussen to be a delight. Besides the monastery museum, there is Hohes castle close by and a doable walk to Lechfall. An Aldi’s is just down the street. We found walking the people streets brought real character to Fussen. We did enjoy the hotel’s restaurant for one meal. On a side street is a superb Asian restaurant called ‘Thuy Golden Stabchen.” They had the best shrimp. A very positive experience. The hotel is located in a very quite area in Lindau, however close to the island. It keeps what mentioned on their web pages: room is nice and well equipped, bathroom is ok with a large shower, breakfast is plentiful and rich of sweets and savory, with fresh fruits that are different every day. To see it's more a house than a hotel, and this makes a positive difference in my opinion, because it makes you feel almost at home. And breakfast in the veranda is a great way to start the day. I definitely recommend it.

GGuest UserWell the location is amazing!! You can walk anywhere from the hotel which is a bonus but you pay for that bonus too. It is expensive to stay here, the rooms are large and basically bare. Clean and only one pillow per person. To walk to the room took some time due to the largeness of the corridors - sometimes you think you need a map! Beds were ok, not the best not the worse! Buffet breakfast was very good, lots of options and good quality. Probably wouldn’t stay again would look around for a smaller more personable hotel. The underground parking under the hotel has limited, very limited parking in an extremely tight carpark took multiple turns to even get in! Would not recommend that but near the information centre there is a large well lit multi storey parking garage and open 24/7 and wasn’t expensive! The town is beautiful and well worth the visit.

DDaAnderWe chose this hotel as our base during a three-day bike tour and did not regret it. We got what is now rare, even a three-bed room. A family-run hotel where you feel well lifted. A service always pre-eminent, an excellent kitchen, cared beer and a breakfast buffet that doesn't leave any wishes open. And our bikes were allowed to stay in the garage. The Old Factory of the brewery ”Camba Bavaria” is located in a range of ranges with a real beer garden, as well as reading ”Craft Beer” specialities.

We have searched for and found a cheap accommodation on the journey to the holidays. Therefore we were ready to take off, which we had not to do here. nice, helpful, young crew at the reception. Clean, attractive room, facilities functional, fresh. Flattery air conditioning, which we have enjoyed in “monkey heat”. Breakfast ok, for the price called super( adults 10€/ children4€) All in all a fantastic price performance ratio!

Clean hotel, modern. Spacious room and easy parking. It is fine for 1 to 2 nights. The location is easy to get too and easy to reach the city. The staff were friendly and professional. The aircon worked well and the shower was good. Would recommend.
