Quaint little hotel tucked away from the town center but close enough to walk to it. Close to all other hotels and restaurants too! Rooms are nice, clean and has fantastic balcony view. Service from staff was impeccable. They were very accommodating and kind. The best of all was the breakfast. Me and my entire family have officially concluded that their breakfast was hands down the best hotel breakfast we’re ever had. Dont forget to check in first before booking activities. They give discounts for them!

An easy seven-minute walk from the train station is the comfortable and delightful Hotel Sonne Fussen. You will have to cross a two-lane road, but there are crosswalks at either end. There are actually two entrances. If you go to the right-side facing Sonne, there is a convenient door entering the hotel. The other door is on the people street of Reichenstrasse. In between the entrances are several smaller stores. There is a convenient parking garage in the lower floor. There is a room where you do have access to a washing machine and dryer found in the garage area. The reception staff, like the hotel, are friendly and accommodating. Don’t forget to ask for your “Fussen Card” which will give you a free bus ride up to Neuschwanstein and back. The busses are right by the train station. Our room was indeed very clean and pleasant. We had a balcony room facing the mountains. The only downside was the lack of privacy to one side. The balcony is nice though and we did use it The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was large enough. We did like the soft-carpet in the room. By the desk was a large picture of the library museum that was once in a Benedictine monastery and later became City Hall. If you have time, visiting that museum is well worth the money and time. Our two days at Sonne’s we elected not to have our room cleaned. A box of towels was kindly left at our front door. Sonne’s was the only hotel to do this in our month long journey through Bavaria. The hotel is decorated with interesting pieces of art. Some of the pieces could be in a movie. Breakfast is a highlight. The staff takes superb effort to make your breakfast most enjoyable. There are all sorts of items to choose from. You will not starve. I did like the sausages and croissants. Most people, if not all, come to Fussen for the castle. We found the village of Fussen to be a delight. Besides the monastery museum, there is Hohes castle close by and a doable walk to Lechfall. An Aldi’s is just down the street. We found walking the people streets brought real character to Fussen. We did enjoy the hotel’s restaurant for one meal. On a side street is a superb Asian restaurant called ‘Thuy Golden Stabchen.” They had the best shrimp. We had to stop there because we couldn't get into our location and we did not have a phone to contact them.The desk clerk was more then helpful and let us use the phone to contact.He also let us use the hotel computer to get directions sent to our email.Thr desk clerk was very friendly and accomadating,had we not got our key we would have stayed there instead.Sokudos to the great desk clerk for helping 4 strangers from Canada.

A cheap and good opportunity to stay in Neu-Ulm. In 15-20 minutes is the Ulmer city centre walking distance. The hotel's equipment is moderately spartanian,but it's enough for a short stay. It's also very clean in the rooms. We're always happy to come back. If you arrive with the car, you can enjoy a lot of free parking on the Allgäuer Ring!

Very good location in the middle of the place, very good transport connection. Renoved 3-Bett-Business-Zimmer. Very clean and conveniently equipped. The soap container in the bathroom at the washing venue was unfortunately completely empty, so we had to take the shower gel out of the shower. We did not object to this, but only informed it when checking out. A water cooker with instant coffee and/or tea would have been nice. The breakfast was very delicious and rich. The staff was courteous, but rather distant. We had forgotten to log in to breakfast two of our children who stayed elsewhere nearby. We ask to apologize for this many times, but especially our children were somewhat scared when the competent lady responded somewhat inappropriately to it in the breakfast room. Unfortunately, the hotel was not bookable without breakfast, what we would otherwise have done. For our smallest who paid breakfast, the buffet is not worth it anyway, because it hardly eats anything. The ‘seam order' is not likely to have been seriously affected. The next time we will avoid competing again. All was fine there a week ago. However, a comparison was worth it.

Visiting Gunzburg for a few days on business, I was booked into this hotel. I am used to large chain hotels, so I was reluctant at first. Know this, when you first visit the hotel if you've never been to the area can be confusing. There is not clear direction on where to park. (Please note that there is a parking garage right next to the hotel. Park there. The hotel validates your parking.) Now that I'm parked, the hotel staff is amazing at welcoming you. Everyone I dealt with spoke english quite well, and that was greatly appreciated as I spek very little German. The room is perfectly sized (for one person) and it's clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well stocked. The hotel is located just two blocks from the Gunzburg pedestrian street where you can find great little shops, fantastic restaurants, and some wonderful people watching. I really have no complaints about this property. This will be the place I stay when I return to Gunzburg. (Final note: this place is a short distance to Gunzburg's Legoland so there are ALWAYS kids running around. Thankfully, this wasn't an issue at all while I was there.)

We are on day 9 of being in Bavaria and I think our 5th or 6th hotel. This is by far the best and most comfortable. The bed is so awesome. The staff are welcoming. Two big drawbacks; no air conditioning and finding the actual hotel location. We arrived late at night, I had made a reservation and paid ahead of time. We were so frustrated at not being able to find the hotel we drove about 10 minutes away and were going to check into a Holiday Inn Express. The guy at the front desk there was sooooo sweet, when I told him we were unable to find the NinetyNine Hotel, he did everything but drive us to the front door. He printed off directions and told us exactly what to look for! It's located next to the Universitat Augsburg a sort of industrial area on the outskirts of town. When we woke up in the day time we realized the GPS had taken us right next to the hotel but there are no visible neon signs at night. I am really glad we wound up finding it. They hotel is big on sustainability and animal conservation and awareness. The decor is wonderfully strange yet welcoming with butterflies 🦋, monkeys, fish 🐟 and other animals all around. There is a full bar in the lobby, breakfast is available and a small refrigerator in the lobby with drinks for sale. Oh and it is located above the Rewe grocery store and you get access to the fitness center right next door. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

New and modern but with a very professional staff (even if they look very young). Will certainly be back if I have to book a room in Augsburg. Wifi was regular and strong and the breakfast was to die for. It take 20 minutes to reach the Dome (city center) but the roads a quite and green.

Hotel located about 4km from Augsburg City centre. The hotel rent free bikes, which we made the most of during our stay, as there is a beautiful river and miles of forest covered park to cycle around. We also used the bikes to go to the city centre as the tram wasn't operating. Free ample parking. Fantastic breakfast. Free ice cream. Room was large and had a fridge and kettle. Slightly older decor, but nice bathroom. My only criticism is, there is a musty smell, but no idea where this is coming from as everywhere is spotlessly clean. The reception staff spoke English and were helpful and friendly. And the restaurant staff were excellent too. Thanks for a lovely weekend. Would recommend.

- stay in the sunshine station for a fair visit - cheap to reach by car, but due to the location in a business area restaurants and others are not accessible by foot - attractive clean rooms without tape floor - that is happy to Allergic - Every room has a balcony - the smoker is happy ;-) - Unfortunately no deskchair to work on the desk. On the seat that is available, you sit too deep to work on the desk. - Kiss and cover rather by the cheap variety. There is better! - Free minibar that is filled daily (beer, water, cola, juice) - Very good breakfast in the 5th floor with a very good selection. Other hotels can cut a dish! Eggs and omelets are prepared freshly on request and a delicious sauce/cheese/backware selection - unfortunately only Burgers, pizza, snacks and salads in the restaurant. These were good, though not exceptional - the service is trying to dine but overloaded - only one force for about 25 guests and in the kitchen probably only one person. - On one night we wanted to drink a drink at the bar in the EC. The spirituose selection was very desperate, but there was a Remy, unfortunately not much. The cognac was presented in a glass of a drink - an absolute NoGo! There's still a lot of air upstairs. - To staff: always friendly, without being impeccable. - Concluded: if it works better in the restaurant and bar, there's also 5 points next time.
