On 8/18 around 10pm Central Time, 11pm Eastern, I was in Sweetwater TN. I searched the Best Western website and accidently booked a room at the Sweetwater TX location. I put the address in my navigation, 938 miles, so I caught the mistake immediately. I booked a Best Western room here in TN, used the same Credit Card, and immediately called Sweetwater to explain. They refused to cancel the room without penalty, say they are going to charge me. Jessica and Monica were called by the front desk person. Both refused to talk to me in person or cancel. They just passed info through the front desk. I understand the intent of cancel policies, people disrespectfully make reservation to hold for in case, or a rate, but fail to cancel when they do not go. This can cost the hotel money if they could have filled the room. This situation doesn't fit that bill. The room was tied up for mere minutes, late at night, it would not cost this location anything. These two ladies are attempting to STEAL from me. They refuse to talk to me, or refund. I am attempting to find out if this is a franchise location or corp. As a franchise owner in a different business, I would be LIVID with my employees if they treated a customer this way and STOLE money from them on my behalf. I want to talk to the owner if this is a franchise.

I traveled with my elderly parents, one in a wheelchair. We had a great room spacious for wheelchair and everything you would find at any other normal hotel stay. Staff was friendly and always helpful. Monica helped me find the best room for our needs and I greatly appreciate her efforts. The breakfast was nice. They also had a neat coffee machine that made specialty coffee. That was a bonus for me. We will definitely come back as we gave up on the local Hampton Inn nearby after years of issues.

Even though the room had an extra space with large couch the tv in bedroom was too far for viewing. There should have been another tv.
