Hualien Hotels with Pools

"You can walk to the hotel from Xincheng station in about 20 minutes. There is a shuttle that takes you from the hotel to either Xincheng or Hualien station for free, which I appreciate. The immediate area around the hotel and from Xincheng station is quite remote and there are basically no stores or restaurants open. Thus you will probably have to eat all meals at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant itself is pretty good though and the pricing is reasonable, all things considered. The main benefit of the hotel is the hotel pool. Personally i have a bit of mixed feelings about the pool because the view of the ocean and the beach is partially blocked by some trees, however, overall it is indeed a nice view especially of the mountains in the back. You can also walk to the beach in a few minutes, which is convenient. Service is good. Overall if you are planning to check out Hualien but don't plan to go to Taroko gorge, I think this is a decent option."

When he returned to the bed and breakfast in the evening, his son couldn't wait to play in the water, but he found that the depth of the water was less than 80 cm when he went into the water. The homestay is not in the center of Hualien City, but it is very convenient for the boss to call a taxi to Dongdaen Night Market. It only costs NT$100, which is cheaper than taxiing 150 by yourself. The triple room booked is quite big, with a small bed on the floor. In fact, when booking a double room, two large beds and one big bed are enough. But because of the children’s breakfast, I simply booked a triple room. Breakfast is a simple sandwich prepared by the hotel, which is enough. Overall, I was very satisfied. My son said he would like to stay a few more days, only next time."
