It was an amazing stay in Dusit Thani. Their breakfast have good variety everyday. If you request for bacon they will make one for you. The staff are very accomodating and i like how they greet the guests all the time. The spa is amazing very relaxing and the gym is clean and open 24/7. Pool is nice. We got the nice view from the 5th floor. Everyone is super mabait and amazing from the guards to reception, to staff and housekeeping. Will recommend this hotel to my friends who will visit Davao

the dinner buffet with discounted rate for hotel guest was a thumbs and the food too was superb. With the shops outside the hotel from convenient stores, entertainment bars, massage parlors were all walking distance. i had a peaceful and well rested night. So overall I had a great stay

The location is definitely one of the best features of this stay as it is very accessible to restaurants, convenience stores and all transportation options around the city. The staff are also very helpful when asked regarding directions. You also have the option to avail of the lunch or dinner buffet at their partner restaurant in the ground floor. PS. I went with sister and friend. And we are please with service and location is in the center. The breakfast buffet was excellent, different variety every day. 24 hour front desk personnel and security are a plus. I recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. We arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for. When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem. Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

I enjoyed staying in this place although the flat was a little hard to find, make sure that you connect with the landlord first :)

The room was more spacious than I expected, and the location is great for getting around by taxi. The cleanliness was meticulously maintained, and the service was warm and friendly. The mattress had just the right firmness, and the soundproofing was good, so I slept very soundly at night.

The location is great, close to everything, but the main issue is their checkout time. It's only until 10 AM, even though it said 12 PM on ***********. Then, you're suddenly hit with a 398 cleaner's fee, which wasn't mentioned on *********** either. You also have to pay a 1K deposit, and when you get there, you have to wait for the owner's confirmation. If I had known all this, I would have just booked a hotel directly, where you don't have to pay a cleaner's fee.
