Friendly staff. Rather windy staircase to bedroom. Room was dated however large, bright and airy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good, nice coffee, English breakfast cooked to order. Would definitely stay again!

Great hotel to stay while visiting Avebury Henge, Stonehenge, REME Museum and Salisbury. Booked an executive twin which was comfortable and very quiet. It was a very hot evening and we ate a delicious dinner on the front terrace. There is no air conditioning in the room, however, an electric fan was provided. Tea and coffee available with kettle in the room for that early cuppa followed by an excellent cooked breakfast, unfortunately no baked beans!, but still tasty. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in that particular area.

Lovely old building. Needs some attention in places.Draughty and not very warm l We were on the 2nd floor up a twisty narrow staircase which I found very difficult. The room was large and pleasant. Shower over the bath which also could not get into.

Very pleasant overnight stay at this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room and bathroom were a good size. Good breakfast. Lovely surroundings . Just off the M4, J15 so very handy for breaking the journey down to the West Country

The room was spacious, the bathroom would benefit from an update and I prefer a softer mattress. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was high quality.

Lovely little hotel,warm welcome from friendly but professional staff.Room and bathroom very comfortable,breakfast very good.Hotel and gardens in need of a slight refit hence the title..not a diamond but very very good and value for money.We will stay again if in area.
