The room decorations a bit funny, TV put on the table how I need to work and my bed is another side how can I watch. I also find cockroach in the room

The hotel is right inside China town with great food options nearby especially Korean food. We even saw fireworks

Reception had sign up saying back in 5 mins - no one sighted for 2 hrs. Only one lift working. Amenities not up to alleged 4 star standard. Bed was two singles pushed together with no full sized topper mattress so not very comfortable.

The rudest receptionist i have ever come across in my entire life! In saying that i am a frequent traveler and have stayed in many types of accommodation ranging from budget motels up to 5 star hotels and none of them ever been this rude to customer not even budget motel. She slammed things out of frustration and exhale a loud sigh, and even yelled at me, this was no where near acceptable. All because I booked 2 rooms & asked to be put in the same level (rang them a few months back for this request) . However, when checking in she said our assigned rooms are 2 floors apart, she then changed the paperwork to make them 1 floor apart (note we have not enter any room at this stage, only paperworks). When we entered the room wasn’t clean (there was half eaten hotdog and wine spills) so i went back to reception asking to be put back to our original floor (2 floors apart) which she refused saying i have done a lot of paperworks to move you & she blew up slamming things and started yelling. Although she did apologise in the end, it had already ruined my holiday mood. Never ever stay with APX again

The APX is in a excellent location for any activity at Darling Harbour and Paddy’s Market. ***** transport is only minutes to the market. Maybe 10 minutes to Town Hall, for the trains. Room was clean and well equipped for a short term rental. Lots of options for oriental food. Check in was efficient and pleasant. Wife and I felt safe to leave the hotel for a walk to the Harbour and places in the CBD.

Check in and out smoothly and service quite good, helpful,room was big and nice beds clean and balcony was advantange for smoking,all over very good and near by all good food

During my trip to Sydney, I stayed at this hotel for two days. The first day was a good experience, and the second day was a terrible experience, as the hotel normally operates only one lift out of two. The only elevator that day was broken, and it was not available for a whole day and a half. When we checked out, we had to carry the super-heavy luggage down the stairs by ourselves. Two girls carried the boxes down the stairs, and the front desk service staff did not give any help. Fortunately, I lived on the second floor, if I lived in a higher floor, I would die carrying the luggage.

Great location. Close to Chinatown, Paddy’s Market, Darling Harbour, Town Hall, and to bus & train stations. Staff are helpful & accomodating. The apartment is a bit old. Not a 5-star that you can chill & relax but still a good place to stay after a tiring day going around Sydney.

Short walk from the train station, close to the Darling Harbour with all the city amenities in close proximity.
