5 minutes walk from the Train Station at Tai Chung. Room is clean but small in size. Location wise, it is quite far from the night markets and attractions. It is also located at a road intersection. The room that I got on the 8th floor has the hotel signage right outside of the window which is bright at night but with the blinds drawn its okay. Booked 2 rooms. In one of the rooms, safety ledge on the door is spoilt and the hotel used some double sided tape to stick it on. Feedback to the hotel concierge and they came to the room to look at it but couldn't provide a solution. For the other room the power sockets at the bed side were not working at all. Recommended to venture more into the city and stay somewhere more centralized unless if you need to catch an early morning train out.

Booked through Ctrip's new user discount, the VIP king room is priced at 3061 per night on weekdays. The hotel is located on Taiwan Avenue, which is a traffic artery in Taichung City. It is very convenient. It is about 10 minutes' drive from Fengjia Tourist Night Market. The room is decorated in a classic style. The bed is moderately soft and hard, and I find it comfortable and easy to sleep in. The swimming pool saunas are open, and reservations are required before using the saunas.
