Hotels near Nanhudashan Cirque, Taichung

Location is very very good, but bed and pillows are the worst ever! I could not sleep because the mattress springs were literally in my back, pillow very bad. Also, the check in until really really late, this means, for example, that in the dorm I was, at midnight we were 3, and at 4 AM we were 7! 4 people arrived during the night and even if they've been very respectful, still 4 people make some noise. Bed curtains need to be changed, I had the chill from the a/c direct on me. Receptionists are very very helpful, kind and speak a good English!

Great hotel, great price, great service, great location. A few minutes walk from Taichung Station (not to be confused with the high speed railway station) and directly in front of one of the main intercity bus stops (ticket office next door) so easy to take bus to Taipei. Also intracity buses depart from here, so easy to get almost anywhere. Staff are friendly, and the hotel is spotless. Convenience store and beef noodle soup next door too. There are several other hotel options nearby for similar prices, but overall this one ticks all the boxes.

I booked this hotel as it stated that there are parking lots. When I came to check in, staff only said that there were not available and directed me to the near by parking where I have to pay fee. Staff who are at the counter check in were not so friendly, unlike the staff who are at the breakfast entrance and in front of the elevator area, they were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and we got the view where we can see the main train station.

Clean is small but super clean and comfy. Breakfast choice was good and changed every day throughout the entire 3 days of stay. The additional plus point would be the free laundry room at Ground Floor which you can wash for your clothes and dry them free. Staffs are polite and kind to assist you with any enquires that you have. All in all, a pleasant stay at City Inn Hotel (Taichung) and would return again for the same hotel the next trip. Lastly kudos to staff - Emma who has helped to maintain the cleanliness of Room 701 throughout the entire 3 days. Appreciate your effort. Thank you 😊

A city hotel with a children's playground and rich brunch. Staying in a superior triple room with no window or bathtub on weekdays in November 2023. The room is novel, stylish and clean. The meal time is two hours. The dishes are diverse and there are six kinds of fruits. Unfortunately, the quality of the fruits is not very good. The specialty is Starbucks Coffee and Haagen-Dazs ice cream. The parking lot is located in the basement of the hotel building from B2 to B5. The entrance and exit are on Yanagawa East Road. There are many parking spaces, but the parking lot is not dedicated. When the occupancy rate is high, it may be full and there will be no parking spaces. Tenants can park for free for 24 hours. There is a dedicated elevator in the parking lot directly to the hotel. hall.

The attitude of the service staff was very good. The room was neat and clean but had a bit of a damp smell. It is recommended to install a dehumidifier. As soon as you exit the hotel, you will find Fengjia Night Market and convenience stores nearby. Everything is very comfortable and convenient!

We are visiting Alishan, Sun-moon lake so make a stop at Taichung and we find this is a nice hotel and nice room and facilities are well equipt , we like hotel breadfast at the cafe which supply a bit variety of Asian food + American food too. It's a pity we only for a night , next trip I will plan to come back here for few days stay to explore Taitung.

Is nice hotel with good service. Evening there is live music in cafe “ meet “. Really enjoy. Front desk staffs extremely friendly. Good value for price.
