Fantastic stay at Silks Place, we particularly enjoyed the very spacious rooms, free fruits/tea in the room as well as the heated outdoor pool and the roomy gym.

An older hotel but well-maintained and updated in the heart of old downtown, convenient to public transportation, attractions and restaurants. Room is clean and quiet. Nice free breakfast. professional and courteous staff. Very satisfied.

Nice location and good service. It’s about 300 meters to the train station. Hotel Tainan is more than 60 years old, the furniture is old and the room is relatively small. The bathroom is small but comes with a bath tub. No hair dryer and no safe in the room. Surprisingly the room key is still old style. The check out time is 11 am. I stayed extra 4 hours from 11 am to 3 pm and I was charged $NT 1130.

Fantastic hotel. Very grand and nice interior decor. Great service people especially Charlie Huang who is very helpful , friendly and polite. Superb lication. Can walk to many places and morning market which is a myst see in tainan. Greatly recommended!

The hotel is on a bus route between the Tainan Railway Station and Fort Zeelandia. It occupies several floors of a building with plenty of eateries around. The room is clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. It serves a ********* breakfast buffet, including traditonal congee and buns, that may not suit the palate of some westerners. Personally,I pefer some western dishes like fried eggs and bacon. The staff is efficient and courteous in answering my enquiries about the public transport. In any event, I will consider staying in this hotel again.

I just arrived in Tainan from Kaohsiung, and the hotel is located ten minutes away from Tainan Train Station. It's a bit hard to find the hotel at the entrance, but once you enter, the lobby is large and there are many sofa seats for travelers to rest. The check-in time for the room was 3:30 pm. Since we arrived too early, we left our luggage and went around to look for delicious food. This side of Tainan is relatively old, but there are many snack shops nearby, including authentic Tainan meatballs, breakfast restaurants, sushi restaurants, fruit shops, etc. We walked around for a long time before returning to the hotel room and found that the room was more than twice the size of the one in Kaohsiung. We were very surprised. The room we booked was a room with two double beds. In addition to the dining table and sofa area, there was a lot of activity and storage space. The bathroom is also larger than the average hotel, but it only has a standing shower area. The hotel staff are polite and the room overall feels clean. It would be better if toiletries could be provided and the sound insulation problem could be improved (there happened to be noisy children in the next room)

Welcome to stay here. It is very comfortable and has many tips for foreign tourists.💖💖 (I didn’t take any photos. Let me start by saying that this is my first time living with friends. Whether it’s the hotel facilities or the price (coupons are available), it’s all perfect. If I come to Tainan next time, I’ll want to stay here again! Hotel facilities: The room is quite small, as is the toilet (if you have a wider body, you may feel crowded🤣), although it is small, it is well-equipped and very comfortable🥰They provide instant noodles for just the right number of people (it will be replenished if you stay for two days) Instant noodles), cookies (I ate rice crackers), black tea and green tea bags (I didn’t drink this). There are some thoughtful little reminders in the hotel, which makes people feel very considerate. The towel is very clean, I really want to buy it🤣 There’s no full-length mirror, but I brought a small mirror so it didn’t matter! The bed is so comfortable. I fell asleep quickly after lying on it (maybe I was too tired). I like the pillows. Overall they are very comfortable😍 Thank you very much for giving our two little girls a comfortable experience. Shangri-La Far Eastern Tainan was a very grand and pleasant hotel. The lobby had a beautiful Christmas tree and they let us check in early. There were 38 floors which was impressive and the room was big and bright. The beds were comfy and the TV had YouTube and Netflix with many other channels. However, there was some dust on the cupboards and the sofa bed needed money to be turned into a bed. There were many food places near the hotel as well. But go to Anping, Garden night market or Da Tung night market need to take taxi. Overall, Shangri-La Far Eastern Tainan was enjoyable for my family.

I really feel from the bottom of my heart that the attitude of the service staff is very good. Different from the catering industry, I am really surprised that the hotel can have such good service (responding to spoken words and helping to press the elevator when passing by). The bed is also very big and comfortable. Recommended to relax!

good service. The attitude is good, the breakfast is delicious, and the environmental hygiene is satisfactory. There is also a supermarket, McDonald's, KFC, and a place to grab snacks to pass the time.
