It's a small hotel in a good location in the center of Tainan City. You can walk to most of the major attractions. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are a good size and very clean.

Good location. Near to family mart. Big room. Enjoyable stay!

I was very happy to check in. The reception staff was very warm and welcoming. The hotel facilities are very new, there is an independent parking lot, and the bed is very safe and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.

City Place was a wonderful little hotel right in the middle of the action of Tainan. The room was spotless and well equipped and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Excellent service from staffs. Located in the city and close to train station and mall. However the bathroom was small.

We were placed in a room of level 3 which was undergoing renovation. The corridor was dusty, which was a nuisance. But the front desk did apologize as we were checking in. Still, the management should not allocate guests on floors with on-going works. Room size was small, but good enough, with creative use of space. Aircon was comfortable. Water pressure was great, but there was mildew growing in the bathroom and that was disconcerting. Location is good in that there are many dining places within walking distance. However, there are a few "gaming" places as neighbor. I was extra careful as I walked around, but I also did not encounter any unsavory character.

Convenient location. Walkable distance to many dining options. Staff are helpful and friendly. Too bad the weather was so hot. Would definitely return in cooler season to explore.
