Very new and clean hotel. Will be better if the hotels offers 2 double beds bedroom or family room.

This hotel is very very clean and I feel very very safe staying alone! This hotel should be a 5 star and not 4. Room is abit small but I love how clean it is. This hotel is new.. I hope it continues to maintain it cleanliness in many years to come.. because most hotels cleanliness drop after many years. I hope this is not the case for this hotel. Not very near to the heart of XMD but still acceptable as it is about 7-10 mins walk to the core of xi men ding (XMD)

I had a comfortable stay at Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Taipei Ximen. Conveniently located near Ximen MTR station and Taipei Station. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was super clean. Nothing you can ask more of it at this price.

The location is good. The only complaint is the bed and pillow a bit hard 😂😂. The service is superb. The free beverage in the lobby is great too

Location: superb
5 mins walk from Ximen exit 6
Right at the heart of the bustling Ximending shopping district.
Numerous eating options nearby including the famous mala hot pot chains.

Clean, new Japanese style hotel
Nice scent in lobby, came with amenities bar at lobby for toiletries and water bottle station to take extra bottles if needed (each room came with 2 bottles alr, which will be replenished daily)
Showering and toileting areas in the room are separated which is great. The showering area is covered with sliding doors which cannot be locked which may be a consideration point for folks who prefer bathroom locks.
Aircon was comfortable, sound insulation very good.
Enjoyable stay, would want to come back here for next Taipei trip.

Booked 2 rooms for a group of 4. It is very clean and spacious, they provide lots of amenities at the lobby (toothbrush kit, disposable towels/razor, loofas, cotton pad etc). Convenience wise probably a 5-10mins walk from ximen exit 6 depends on your speed. I mean the hotel is located at the heart of ximending so you have good food everywhere!
Experienced my first and second ever earthquake in this hotel at night. The shake was pretty scary considering that I was staying at level 27 but it guess it was okay considering i’m still typing this 🤣
Didn’t managed to take any photos of the hotel room though I took a video but they don’t allow to upload … oh wells hope to be back again !

Walking distance to ximending night market. Many shops, eatery and restaurants within walking distance.
Location of the hotel is very convenient. Nearest station is +/- 10mins.
At the lobby free flow of beverages is available.
Will come back to stay in this hotel if I will to come back to Taipei again.
At the hotel level 1, easily get taxi at the street.

Amazing hotel with superb location. The hotel looks so unique starting from the 1st floor lift entrance, all the way to the looby and room.
Everything part of it looks so clean and neat. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly.
Though room is small, but all the space you need is there and catered for you.
Only 2 complaints would probably be the selection of TV channels (almost 75% are Taiwan news channels and very repetitive) and the checkout time is 11am instead of 12pm.
Will definitely come back to this hotel on our next trip to Taipei.

The location was great walkable distance to the airport train and taipei main station (10-15mins walk). While it was walkable distance to a few main stations it also was not particularly close to one (all needed at least 5-10mins away)
Room was clean and spacious, amenities were provided.
Housekeeping is every other day unless requested.

Clean and comfortable room. Good location near the heart of XMD, many eateries nearby. There are also free luggage lockers, very convenient to leave luggage there if you have a later flight / train

Very clean. Basic calm colors, mainly stone and wood colors, very traditional Japanese inspired design. Room with queen bed can easily accommodate 2 adults. I am 188 cm, so the bed is a little shorter than I am used to. Bed is slightly firmer than American beds, but normal for Asia.
The breakfast buffet is excellent. There’s *****************, Japanese, and American breakfast items. Well worth the price for all of the different items you can eat for breakfast. The workers were excellent, they knew what you needed without you having to ask them.
The front desk workers were all smart and attentive, with pleasant attitudes. Hotel is close to everything. It is about a 10 minute walk to Taipei Main Station, and about a 10 minute taxi ride to Taipei 101.
All kinds of shops nearby. When you walk out, to the left is a small 24-hour food shop and convenience stores, many foot massage shops, souvenir stores etc.

This hotel is very close to the subway station, making it convenient for transportation. There is a massage shop just across the crosswalk, which is great for relieving fatigue. The lobby always has complimentary water and tea available, which we could freely enjoy. Additionally, it was very convenient to store our bags ourselves after check-out.
The staff were friendly, but it was disappointing that there were no staff members who spoke English well. In the hotel lobby, there were promotional materials for a restaurant associated with the hotel, stating that we could get a discount by presenting the material. However, when we visited, there were no English-speaking staff members, and none of the staff knew about the promotion, making it very inconvenient. It would be better if the places associated with the hotel had staff who could speak basic English.
Lastly, the room rates were set higher than what we expected for the hotel's star rating. Compared to other hotels of the same grade, the rates felt excessively high. We hope this point will be taken into consideration.
