Location is good and just 3mins walk from Metro. But sound insulation is not that good. In general, it is a nice hotel if you look for a convenience hotel.

The location and the amenities are very impressive. Near the metro and convenient to go anywhere. They have daily cleaning but my room haven’t cleaned one day because I went out late and came back early, the housekeeping offered us new amenities and water (so good). Overall great and recommended!!!!

Always request higher floor but cant get it. We travel as couple but book family room. I aak other travellers they told me book from the hotel get better view and higher floor chance better than from trip.com. Maybe next time should try book direct from hotel

The hotel is located next to ximending walk street, close to all the tourist attractions, next to MRT and bus stop. On level 6, there is a self-service laundry, very convenient, especially during the hot/ rainy days. The only issue we faced was the bathroom ceiling was leaking, next to the ceiling light, the facility person fixed it on the first day, but still leaking on the same evening. Overall experience was good.

The hotel's location is good come out from the exit no 4 is easy to find the hotel. Room size is just right for us. But the bathroom shower handle is spoiled and cannot hold the shower head. Basin water flow sound is very loud even if it is not used can still hear the sound. The hotel provides laundry service but is not free, you have to pay for washing and drying clothes. The breakfast spread is good but very crowded.

Hotel Midtown Richardson is located at well connected location, right above Ximen MRT station. Thus easy to access to many attractions. One stop from Taipei main station, One stop to Longshan Tample, two stops to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial hall. Ximending Nightmarket is one junction behind the hotel. I love having buffet breakfast at hotel as all the foods are delicious and available variety. Only one minor inconvenience is that I got a room at level 1 which is next to the reception as I choose city suites, so a bit noisy of checking in and out. Upper level would be quieter. Overall, I'm satisfied with my stay from 15 to 19 June 2024 and recommend this hotel for your and safe and convenience travel.

Perfect location just one step from Ximen station. Exit No.6 has an elevator if you have luggage, nearest exit is No.5.

The hotel was old, washroom door not able to close properly & leave a small gap, the room was not the same as what shown in the picture, the bed arrangement n room size is weird. Look at the bed frame, leather all come out. We pay additional for early check in but we were being locked out on our first night as the key card was not working, I need to come all the way down to exchange the key card, front desk was not apology at all & didn't explain what's happening. I must said staffs of this hotel are not so hospitality and the hotel product was not up to standard too.

I totally regret staying at this hotel during this trip! Upon checking in the hotel, the hotel staff was reluctant to change all four our rooms on the same floor. The walls and the door of the room are so thin as you can listen to the conversation from next door. Whenever someone was using the water faucet next door, I could hear the water flushing down through the drainage pipe in my bathroom. Hotel Wifi really ****** unless you keep standing behind the room door. The worse of all was when I went to bed at night , there were noises in my room but the noises would stop everytime I turned on the light. After 3 or 4 times, I was sure the noises were from the trash bin. Before I came down from the bed , a rat jumped out from the bin and ran towards my bed !!! Fxxking Hell !! I immediately called the front desk and they said they would send someone to my room right away. The staff came and told me to pack my stuff. I packed everything within 5 mins and moved to a different room on a different floor . This new room was a bit smaller yet more rundown than the first one. I must say this hotel is by far the worse hotel I have stayed in my life. The photo is showing the Apple bite from the rat ….

Small room with a big bathtub. Good location. Reasonable price with breakfast.

The love this hotel, just conveniently located in Ximending, near metro, near XMD shopping streets. Many f& and shops in the area. Metro entrance is just minutes away. This is one of the rare hotel with a king bed, just so that we can share the bed with our toddler. And a bathtub too, which our toddler enjoyed the water and bubble play. Room is also bigger than most hotels in Taipei.

Small room but nice. Location is good close to many shops but too many people during breakfast time, elevator is so slow.

Its recommended but not expensive and not cheap. Location is good
