Easy access to train and bus station..close to ximending about 10mins walk or less..people are friendly and accommodating. I recommend it to group of friends and/or couples if planning to visit Taipei

The building itself is old and the room interior was just so-so, but the price was cheap so I have no complaints.
The hotel had a bathtub, which is rare for this price range.
In terms of location, it is adjacent to the Ximen area and within walking distance of Dihua Street.
I think it is a great location if you are sightseeing in the area.
However, if you are using the subway to get around, it will take some time to walk to the station. It looked close on the map but it was actually quite far away.
There are several hotel names posted at the hotel entrance, so you may get lost, but there is only one counter inside.
I couldn't understand Japanese, but I was able to check in with just basic English.

Great location. Friendly reception. Walking distance to Taipei Train Station. Busy night markets nearby. Many foot massages shop nearby. We loved our foot massages. Although the hotel is located at busy road, but room was quiet and able to keep dark with curtain.
Place is simple and practical.

Although the location is really close to Ximending, the actual location is really hard to find! Because it is in the same building with other hotels. But it is really convenient if you find it, and the meal has a simple all-you-can-eat breakfast.
