This hostel was wonderful. We got a private economy room which was perfect for two people wanting some privacy but on a budget. Location can’t really be beat, and service from the hostel staff was amazing. Very peaceful common areas too. Would recommend!

Amazing

I stayed 3 nights in the 8-person dormitory room on the 2nd floor, and it was comfortable with plenty of showers and toilets. There is a place to dry clothes in the laundry space, so I was able to dry knitwear that cannot be put in the dryer. There was an announcement that there might be the sound of firecrackers during the Spring Festival, but I didn't hear anything. The common room was always nice and clean with the robot vacuum cleaner running during the day. There was also a luggage scale and weight scale, which was useful because I stayed there before returning to Japan.

Every time I come to Taipei, I will definitely stay in a youth hostel Their bed is very comfortable and soft And the environment is good What needs to be strengthened is that the bathroom will smell Much like the smell coming out of a drainpipe

The neatness and cleanliness are obvious to all. Because I will check in late that day, the hotel will thoughtfully inform me of the operating procedures. However, if I forget the door password for a while, can I set up an emergency hotline?

Get out of North Gate No. 2, go to 1. Tacheng Road (cross two intersections) 2. Turn around Gangu Road. Here we are! (about 5-7 minutes) The nearby Dihua Street is still pretty good for shopping! The seats here are more hidden, but the room gets full easily! Everyone can make an appointment first, it is very suitable for backpackers, out-of-town travelers, and people who want to go to Xiahai Town God's Temple! There is no counter service after 7 pm here, and there is no guard on the first floor, so everyone should pay attention to safety! You have to carry the key with you. During the epidemic, friends in single rooms try not to arrange visitors (as the counter said). I personally live in a double room, and the sound insulation and the room are pretty good. Ps Although it is a tatami floor, the bed here is very "soft". (too soft too soft for me 🙃)

We used We Come as our base for a two week stay in Taiwan. It was perfect for us. Reasonably priced, spotlessly clean and very thoughtfully organised. Comfortable bedroom. Common areas were great. Wi-Fi fast. Friendly staff. Luggage store was a great help - we left our big bag each time we headed off for an overnight stay somewhere. 10 mins walk to main train station.

Very Good

(Economy double room in early December 2022 - single occupancy) ■Good points Close to Beimen Station, Ningxia Road Night Market, and the south end of Dihua Street. I was looking for an affordable private room (with a toilet and shower) within walking distance to Dihua Street, so it met my needs. The bath and toilet were separated by glass, so the toilet never got wet. Some reviews said that towels can be rented for a fee, but they were normally left in the room from the beginning and were free. Indoor sandals were also placed in the room. The number of outlets and the distance from the bed were close, which was helpful. The shared kitchen, lounge, and room were both clean. There were several types of free tea bags. I don't know how the front desk speaks Japanese, but there was no problem communicating in English. I was grateful that check-out was until 12:00. We may use it again depending on the season. ■Unfortunate points There was no heating or refrigerator in the room (as it was the beginning of December, there were days when I didn't need heating and instead used air conditioning, but I asked in advance and received an extra duvet). If I had known in advance, I might have booked somewhere else since I was planning to take some frozen food home with me. In reality, I was able to use the shared refrigerator freezer on the same floor, so it wasn't much of a problem. It seemed like eating and drinking other than water was prohibited in the room, but I'm not sure if this was a precaution against the coronavirus. I couldn't open the window curtains because other people would see me if I opened them. I wanted a full-length mirror. There was a terrace in the lounge, but it also served as a smoking area, so I didn't feel like leaving. ■Notes (may be a problem for some people) There are many steps in the room, which may be a problem for some people. Since there were no chairs, there was plenty of space, and I was able to sit on the floor and use the table (shelf?) attached directly to the wall, so there was no problem. I don't know about the communal kitchen/lounge because I don't use the main one at the front desk, but the smaller one on the floor of my room wasn't allowed to be used late at night, and there was no coffee in the kitchen. think. The front desk is closed at night on weekdays as of December 1st. This hostel is a type of hostel that is located on a part of the floor of a multi-tenant building that is common in Taiwan. The building manager is often on the first floor in front of the elevator, but the entrance to the building is left open during the day. I was a little worried because the house next door was in a state similar to what you would call a garbage mansion, but I didn't feel there were any issues with the street itself, such as security.

The hostel is a little distance from the Beimen MRT station, about 5 or 6 minutes' walk away. There are actually many convenient facilities in the surrounding area, such as bus stops, supermarkets, and breakfast shops. The public facilities inside the hostel are complete, almost for backpackers. Everything you need is prepared, including a clean and bright bathroom, indoor slippers, a hairdryer, a large mirror and makeup area for organization, a washing machine and dryer, and a shoe drying rack. There are also some snacks and supplies that you can get for money; what I like most is the room The bed and personal space are really big and comfortable. Important things can be placed in the small cabinet (lockable) in the room. Or if you have a lot of luggage, you can ask the counter where to put it. The counter staff is kind and professional. , it also has relative language skills to deal with foreigners; all in all, it is a very good quality youth hostel in Taipei, and it is on the first choice accommodation list for every business trip or tourist!

Very Good

The staff service is very good and the equipment is complete. There are some dirt on the sockets provided under the table in the living room. Please pay more attention to it. The facial cleanser provided on the table in the dressing table area has expired. Please pay more attention to it. It seems that travelers have been staying for a long time because they live in a mixed area. I originally expected that there would be other women staying in the eight-person room, but I found out that the other tenants were men. I suggest that next time there are female guests, you can ask or inform them about the current accommodation situation so that the guests can decide whether they really want to live in mixed dormitories. Of course, these are suggestions. It’s not that I want to be a guest, I just want to let your hotel know that I am a little concerned about it. Anyway, thank you.

I think the environment in room S06 of Beimen Woke Youth Hostel in Datong District, Taipei City is really great. It makes me feel like I want to stay here. Lying on the bed makes me feel very comfortable and relaxes me. Feel.

Although the entire floor of the building seems to be marked Good Day, the North Gate Bedroom Room type on agoda is indeed on the sixth floor. The public space is large and comfortable, and all the equipment should be provided. Although I cannot adjust the lighting by myself (or I don’t have it). It's a bit inconvenient to use (find the switch), but it has a balcony to relax on, plenty of daylight, a book wall and plants. As for the room, I think the soundproofing is good and the space is comfortable. Large bath towels and foot towels are provided. The big bath towels are a bit rough but do not affect use. As for the toilet, I smelled a slight smell, and the water volume in the shower became smaller when the shower head was switched.

The youth hostel has considerate facilities, clean rooms, friendly service staff and is not far from the MRT station. Beimen Station is the closest. If you want to take a walk, you can choose to go to the Beijing Railway Station. It is a high-CP value accommodation experience.
