I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The air conditioner is very cold. No matter how you adjust it, it's still cold. The air conditioner turns on by itself at night. The lamp turns on by itself. I don't know if there are ****** here. The room has no windows, it's quite like a prison. The staff is good. The hotel is quite far. If you have a big bag, you can walk about 1 km to the station.

We had a pleasant stay with Hotel Papa Whale, the building is not as new as the photos, but it's clean inside. The room was also clean and the staff were nice. They always restock what you use with the toiletries. I just wish they would change their food a little at the buffet. It was delicious but a bit tiring if you eat the same everyday. Overall, we had a good time. The location was also convenient. Close to everything. :)

The hotel is situated in an incredibly convenient location, just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Ximending Night Market! Additionally, there are several convenience stores located in close proximity to the hotel, which is incredibly handy for picking up snacks, drinks, or any essentials you might need during your stay. When it comes to breakfast, I found that the offerings were quite repetitive, with the same items served each day. If you're someone who enjoys variety in your morning meals, you might want to consider skipping the buffet altogether and exploring some of the local breakfast options available nearby. There are plenty of cafes and eateries in the area that can provide a more diverse and enjoyable dining experience. On another note, I did have some interactions with the staff at Takao Restaurant, and I must say that they weren't particularly warm or welcoming. The service felt a bit lacking, especially from an older lady who seemed to create quite a scene when handling the plates. This could detract from the overall dining experience, so it might be worth considering other dining options if you're looking for a more pleasant atmosphere.

Hotel located about 10 min walk away from Ximen MRT. Situated near to the heart of Ximen shopping area. Room is clean. Self check in available.

Great location. Ximending is very accessible from this hotel. Clean and comfy rooms. Amenities are well provided. Bottled water and coffee replenished daily. Everything in the room was working fine and well. Would recommend this hotel if travelling on a budget.

14 minutes walk to the nearest train station, but not for this hot summer. Room - small and noisy, you can hear the sound from another room. Receptionist - Poor customer service, not helpful and unfriendly. You need to wait until 3pm only can check in, can’t check in even 2:58pm! Awful Cleaning service- excellent, the cleaner was polite and professional. She cleaned our room very well. Thanks

The place was good and clean and crews are very accommodating it also accommodate travelers like us in the lobby to left our things safe since were to early so that we can roam around the city. Good Job!

The location and facilities are great!! I love this hotel so much! but, in my room, There was a constant banging noise which was quite loud. The room was too cold even with the air conditioning turned off. But still I loved this hotel and would stay again!!

I love this place! From the lobby to the room and everything else reflect the gen-Z-ness of this industrial-type accompdation.

In the middle of xiamending good night market district. Good cheap and clean hotel. For bikers: you cannot take bikes into your room and have to leave them in the lobby.

The hotel is alright and it near to ximending, will come back and stay again. And will recommend friend.
