We paid almost $300 USD for one room on a Saturday night. Typically rooms are relatively expensive in Taipei, especially on a Friday or Saturday so we expected it to be a bit pricier. The room itself was big and the beds were also quite large. The location itself is good but everything else about it was horrible. We got the top floor but there were many issues with the hotel and room. First, the hotel we booked was “sunny hotel”, but the name on the building was ReLite hotel so it was difficult to find. When entering the reception area the whole building smelled like sewage. Second, the room smelled musty and had tiny ants both in the bathroom and in the room. Third, the glass sliding door that lead to the bathroom was difficult to open, could not close all the way, and could not be locked. They provided tea, water, toothbrush, shower cap, and shampoo (all pretty typical for hotels in Taiwan). EVEN FOR $50 I WOULD RECONSIDER GETTING A ROOM HERE.

The advantage is that it is right next to the MRT Beimen Station, so it is very convenient to go anywhere. The disadvantage is that the hair dryer is very small and needs to be pressed all the time. It is really a bit inconvenient to use.

It is conveniently located about 5 minutes walk from Taipei Main Station on the Airport Rail Link. It takes about the same amount of time to get to Ximen Station or the center of Ximen. The rooms are moderately old and not much different from other mid-priced hotels in Taipei. The reception staff and cleaning staff were all friendly, so I felt comfortable.

We stayed for three nights during the New Year period. The space was sufficient and the sanitation was good. The cleaning lady cleaned and changed the sheets every day, which is worthy of praise. Good points: - Walk to Ximen Tung, not very far  about 300 meters, looking from the room down to see the view of the main road of eight lanes. - The room has a large double bed, can be booked as a triple, one person in each room can sleep comfortably  - Tea and coffee sachets available in the room are delicious. Improved: -  The service of the staff may not be very friendly. - The place is quite hard to find, if taking a car to the alley will be one way
