The second time I stayed at Eslite Travel, because the first experience was very good, but the second time was very bad, the reason was that the service attitude of the counter staff in the morning was really bad. I stayed for three days and two nights twice, and the experience was particularly deep. The reason is that the air-conditioning outlet in the room on the first night has a very small abnormal sound at night, which affects the sleep of my family. The crib may be old, so I will bark when I move it. I start to feel a little delusional and feel that it is not the same hotel. Later, I asked me about the city view ”Executive Package Room” booked on the official website. I just booked it by looking at the official website photos. The original room type photos on the official website are only for reference? Why should I divide the room type? The counter also kept saying that I should see the lower price ”classic room”, but I booked it from the official website instead of the reservation website. It turned out that there were photos and actual doubts. Later, if things could not be solved, I gave up communication. After returning to the room, I took the initiative to call and said that I wanted to change the room. Later, I changed from the city view to the mountain view... I thought I could sleep well the next day. The driveway of the mountain view was so noisy, because the first time I lived in the city view was very quiet... The crib was really not noisy, but the driveway outside was really noisy. This is an experience to spend money. This experience made me understand that Eslite Travel staff is not trained enough, there is a very good attitude, there are also very poor, the quality of the room type is also uneven..., the second stay in a five-star hotel, this time the whole family did not sleep well for two days, really sad and disappointed.

Comfortable stay there, house keeping staff was accommodating and often helped to tidy up. Front desk staff helped us to microwave food when asked. Unfortunately there was a baby cockroach running around on one of the days in the middle of the night but the front desk staff came to help us catch it. Sadly gym still not open due to covid

We stayed at this hotel for our quarantine stay (3+4). This hotel was the highest priced quarantine hotel in Taipei. As Taiwan is moving away from quarantine, it is unclear whether this hotel will remain a quarantine hotel. Provided meals: Three meals were provided. I believe they rotated it somewhat. I would give them 4 stars overall. They were of mid-to-high end quality, but certainly not Michelin star or 5-star hotel restaurant's quality. That is, I had much better at The Regent or The Sheraton Taipei. That said, there was a microwave in the room for one to heat up the meals to a warmer setting as the meals were prepared in bulk at the lobby. They were lukewarm when the meals arrived in our room. It appeared some meals were prepared by the hotel restaurant and others were from outside sources. The meals were *********, Korean, and Japanese focused. If one wants Western foods, then Food Panda or Uber Eats will be what you want. There are expensive local restaurants at Xinyi Districts that you can pay for to get your own food. Check with the hotel on delivery times, I believe that they won't refund the costs of the meals if one chooses not to eat the prepaid meals. Prior to booking the quarantine hotel, they will send one a form to ask for some preferences and/or allergies. There was a toaster and hot water boiler in the room. The drip coffee and tea packets were super flavorful and refilled (via Line or other means of contact) during our stay. In fact, most contacts were done remotely during the quarantine period. Room: This is what one is paying for in this place if one is stuck here for 8 days (landing day is Day 0). The bed and beddings were super comfortable. The bed was a full king, My room was in the smaller side, but sufficient for two people and eight pieces of luggage. The room was super clean. We know, because we tried wiping some areas and found them to be stainless. We also noticed, via the peephole, that housekeeping took over two hours to deep clean our neighbor's room - including the use of what appeared to be an ultraviolet wand to clean some service areas. There was a clothes-wire in the bathroom if one needed to do handwash laundry during the quarantine stay. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't provide any detergent, but we used the provide soap, The bathroom was large with rain showerhead available. The toilet was a bit too high up off the floor for us as we are around 5 ft 8 inches but flushed well. If one's room faced south or east, one would get a good view of Taipei 101. The south side would get a full view, and east side (our room) got the view from the couch in the ”living room” area. The TV was pretty large and we could watch it from our bed comfortably. The only complaint, if any, was that it didn't have as many international channels for this high-end hotel. I wanted Bloomberg, but nothing was offered. Not even CNBC. The WiFi was very fast. The location of the hotel is great, there is a department store nearby called Ming Yao. Lots of familiar stores too like uniqlo, zara, h&m and starbucks in the area. train station is also close, there is also a supermarket called Carrefour and 7eleven near the hotel. Happy with their service, the front desk that assisted us is very kind and warm, the check in time is 3pm but we got in the room at 2:20 pm which was so considerate. I will not hesitate to book this hotel again if ever I will go back to Taipei.

Great service. Gym has adequate equipment for machine and free weight training, only missing a pull up and dip station. Location is great, nearby many great restaurants and shops. Staff and Concierge are exceptional and helpful in every way possible. In room coffee is limited to instant powder Nescafé packs if you’re a coffee person. Beds perfect, firm but not stiff.

The same excellent service and hospitality as the first time I was here in the late 80s when it was still the iconic Lai Lai Sheraton. Thank you for going the extra mile to make my wife’s birthday memorable with the extra arrangements. Special mention goes to Ellen and the front desk team for taking great care of us.

The train station is beside hotel,very convenient. There is convenience shop nearby also. The room is consider big! We booked a room for 3 pax, there is still large space for us to walk and put luggage. The shower and toilet bowl area is separated, so when you use toilet bowl area it is dry. A very nice design. The vanity area to dress up is very large also. Love the big space that given. Great thing about this hotel, it has Starbucks in their building! I will definitely recommend my friends & family to stay here.

We really loved the pub that is under the hotel, which had daily free beer perks if you patronised them! The beers were really refreshing and yummy! Our stay came with breakfast, which was not bad, but you wouldn't really want to have hotel breakfast every day when there is so much to eat in Taipei. We also loved the hotel concept and would totally return again! Thank you PapaWhale for being a place we want to go back to, after a long day of exploring, every day!

A budget choice for a family trip, including a breakfast buffet with a wide variety of choices. Free drinks at reception and free candies next door. Also, the hotel provides free shuttle bus service with a regular schedule to the MRT nearby. Cross the road, there is a Carrefour opening 24/7. Overall, a great location and a comfortable stay

A very well maintained hotel, clean and in good condition. It's near a night market, and has lots of other restaurants nearby. The room was spacious, stayed in a two twin room, but the beds were more like full size. I requested the beds to be put together but due to the layout of the room, they could not. There was a shower and bathtub. The rooftop also has great views of Taipei, Taipei 101, and SongShan airport and mountains in the distance. I also received two apples as welcome fruit. The hotel could use some updates (e.g. automated sinks and toilets) otherwise a very pleasant short stay.
