MMchia YIt’s a landed property with 3 floors. No lift, so either leave your heavy luggage downstairs or carry up on your own.
Smaller public space and kitchen but good enough to stay around.
The hostel is well managed with fans to air and dry out the space. 4 toilets and 3 showers for 4 bedrooms (around 28 beds I think). But if not all using the shower room or toilet at the same time. It’s just nice. Would be good if there’s 1 or 2 more hangers in the shower and toilet.
The room is clean and bed is comfortable.
Breakfast is included with simple white toast, one egg each and jam.
Although location is 20 mins bus to downtown, it’s close to train station to travel to other small town and convenient stop for 台湾好行. I had no issue as vegetarian as there are eateries around within 5-30 mins walking distance and convenient stores at station.
Receptionists are friendly and helpful. There are travel information available for last minute planning.
Free bike renting starts from 10am. There’s postal service too.

55477.7745The environment was pleasant and beautiful, and the staff were all very friendly. The cleanliness was also pretty good. However, it's an old house, so the soundproofing is practically zero. I didn't hear other guests, but I was woken up several times by dogs outside. It's definitely better to use the earplugs provided by the staff! 😆

And a delicious breakfast attached.
However, the order did not coincide with the actual room when checking in.
After confirmation, it was found that the room order issued by Trip.com to the store was wrong.
So after a little bit of time to make a confirmation,
The store only arrived at the original order room.
(Fortunately, the room was empty that night!)
It is recommended to book from other platforms later,
Don't take the city from Trip.com.

四四个傻小孩Location close to dive spots but not super accessible if you don’t have your own transportation. It’s a 15-20mins ride from the pier and 5-7mins from the food street.
It’s probably one of the biggest minsu around the area with both private, shared and glamping options.
Communication was easy with the minsu on LINE and we made prior arrangements for transportation and luggage transfer early on. They can also help book ferry and other activities for you.
We enjoyed the shared spaces and there’s a fridge you can store your food in the common area. While there’s no gym, we appreciated that there were some free weights in the kitchen area - abit awkward working out with everyone looking but it’s definitely better than nothing. Made for a good workout after our half day dives.
Also, they allowed us to come back to shower after check out which was a huge huge plus. Only small complaint was that we wished we had more bath and toilet towels because they didn’t dry easy.

FFerfer8Note that there’s NO LIFT in this inn so if you have heavy luggages or bags, do consider again. Booked room with 3 Futon beds for family of 5 but no space to open up luggages to pack actually. With 1 luggage open, not much space to walk anymore. The kids did enjoy the futon bed concept and aircon was working well.
Clean beds, clean sheets nonetheless. There’s a small kitchen with microwave that is common space for all rooms, and some space to eat if you need to eat in.
Some parking space along the roadside, or garden area nearby. 24hr laundromat is 5 mins walk to the main road. It’s an inn so have to manage expectations of space.

WweijenThe most cost-effective hotel in Taitung, with friendly staff, a rich and varied breakfast, and excellent Chinese dinner. The hotel is packed with activities in the afternoon, so the family won't be bored. There's also free afternoon tea and a free golf swing experience. It's really great.

TTobias TI recently had the opportunity to stay at ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong, and overall, I found it to be an okay accommodation option. Here are my thoughts on various aspects of the hostel:
Atmosphere and Policies
Upon arrival, one of the notable aspects of the hostel was the requirement to remove shoes before entering. Although this might inconvenience some guests, it does contribute to maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises. The hostel has a modest, laid-back atmosphere, which can be suitable for travelers seeking a relaxed environment.
Room
Unfortunately, I found the room to be a bit claustrophobic. The limited space made it challenging to move around comfortably. However, considering the price, it was within the acceptable range. The room was clean and tidy, which was a positive point.
Service
One aspect that could be improved is the level of service provided. The staff offered minimal assistance during my stay, which led to a lack of personal touch. Despite this, it's worth noting that the basic amenities and necessities were provided.
Pricing
Considering the reasonable price offered by ”It's Mine Hostel,” it is essential to manage expectations accordingly. While some aspects may not be perfect, the affordability of the accommodation must be taken into account when evaluating the overall value.
In conclusion, ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong is an okay option for travelers on a budget. It is worth noting that the hostel has a relaxed atmosphere. it provides basic amenities and cleanliness. If you're willing to overlook some limitations, ”It's Mine Hostel” can be a decent choice for your stay in Taidong.

@@lyj88goodFrom the moment I arrived, this accommodation exuded comfort. The booking process was straightforward, and my inquiries were answered promptly and kindly. The meticulous attention to detail, from check-in to check-out, and the respect for the guests' time, was truly impressive.
The surrounding scenery and air were incredibly clear and refreshing. Thanks to this, even a morning stroll felt incredibly healing. The breakfast was also excellent value for money and very satisfying. The cleanliness was impeccably maintained, making for a worry-free stay.
This wasn't just a place to sleep; it was an accommodation that made the entire trip a joyful experience. If I visit this area again, I wouldn't hesitate to choose it once more.

GGuest UserThis is a really cosy place. I really love my room. Clean and modern interior. The only downside might be the location. It's close to the train station. But there isn't much nearby for food. Probably best to rent a scooter to explore Taitung anyway to make your stay more convenient. They are plenty of scooter shops near the train station too.

Yyona vanI had booked a room in the “hostel” section, but it’s actually more of a hotel pretending to also be a hostel. The cleanliness in the room left much to be desired (from what i could see the window sill is clearly never cleaned, hair on the clean sheets, etc.). On top of that, the lockers are fake in the sense that they don’t lock, so they’re basically just cupboards that anyone can open.
As for the bathroom, some of the shower doors are broken and were literally left abandoned inside the shower. What was my surprise to see that there were cockroaches ?? The next day, I came back to the room to take a shower and there was no electricity in the bathroom anymore.
I asked for compensation because the price I paid was completely disproportionate to the state of the facilities. The receptionist was friendly and offered to move me to a private room (in the hotel section), but the problems continued: when I opened the bathroom door, I once again found cockroaches. Moreover, the humidity doesn’t seem to evacuate properly, and there’s a nauseating smell inside. The lock on the door leading from the room to the hallway doesn’t work. The finishing of the construction work is terrible, nothing is right.
In short, my advice is : do not come to this hotel.
