The hotel was great, and service was polite and helpful, though they didnt speak more than 3 words of English. This is not a typical Hampton Hotel, but an 18 story Hilton property with beatiful comfortable rooms, a gym and a nice buffet (again rare in China for hotel less then $150 a night) BUT, the central heating couldnt be turned off, and I barely slept because it was soooo hot all night, no matter what I tried to do to adjust it; and smoke poured in trhough the heating from guests smoking in nearby rooms (though no smoking is allowed). Lastly, there was construction in the hotel and the concrete jackhammering started about 8am

I went upstairs and found that I had actually upgraded. I don’t know why the front desk business is so unskilled. Hygienic ~ can say that it is OK, there have been two days without making up the paper, everything is found to be missing to call, really annoying. The environment is actually quite beautiful, and I have lived in other Kaiyuan, and I feel that this is a bit disappointing.
