Holiday Inn TAIYUAN CITY CENTER by IHG

The room was spacious and clean, which I really appreciated. I have to give a special shout-out to the Hollywood-style room's huge bed – it was so comfortable, three people could easily sleep there! The service was good too, and the location is great, within walking distance of Liuxiang and Zhonglou Street. My only minor feedback is that breakfast could be improved; we felt there wasn't much to choose from. Overall though, it was excellent!

Spacious room with comfortable bedding. The location is excellent, with a subway station right downstairs, making travel very convenient. It's also just a 10-minute walk to Bell Tower Street, where you'll find plenty of shopping and dining options. The breakfast is also quite rich.

The location is in the city center, and Xinyi (the staff member) had a great service attitude. Plus, the transportation is very convenient.

What attracted me most was the location. The security downstairs did a great job directing parking and even reserved a spot for us. However, the in-room amenities like the hairdryer and refrigerator were old. The fridge had a really bad smell, which isn't what I'd expect for over 500 a night. The bathroom also lacked a proper wet/dry separation; the sliding door and curtain couldn't prevent steam from the sink area. On the plus side, the surrounding transportation is convenient, and it's close to the Food Street and Shanxi Restaurant.

The king-size bed was great, perfect for families with kids. Didn't get to try breakfast. Parking was well-managed with an attendant, and they even put cones around the EV charging spots. It was also quite quiet.
