Transportation, meals, and the pier are still very close, very convenient

The hotel is new, clean and comfortable. There is free coffee and other drinks on the first floor of the hotel. There is also a kitchen and self-service laundry, which is very convenient. The only drawback is that there is no convenience store near the hotel! I will stay here again next time if I have the chance! Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the room.

I stayed for a large consecutive holiday for Seto art. Because it was a weekday in the valley of the consecutive holiday, I chose this hotel which was worthwhile when the whole city was set up to increase the price. About 8 minutes walk from Takamatsu Station. It is close to the station, but there are almost no convenience stores and restaurants around. Check-in and check-out are all done by machine. There is a attendant at the front desk, but no guest response, and it is a miscellaneous person. The room is a modest single on the 4 floor. It is not large, but two people are enough. There is a small TV. There is no particular shortage, and it is no problem as a hotel, but one point, you can't leave your luggage because of lack of personnel. Therefore, it is not suitable for those who want to leave their luggage at check-in and check-out. For those who do not, it will be one of the candidates for accommodation in Takamatsu, where accommodation costs tend to be high.

２ mid-middle, ２ night ３ day Shikoku trip, １ night I disturbed my wife. The location is located in the downtown area of Takamatsu, about ５ minutes walk from Kotoden Kawaramachi Station, there is a large shopping center nearby (next to the next), and there is a convenience store at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. It is easy to understand if you use the red brick color appearance and the large cat object as a marker. There is no parking lot, and if you use a car, the parking lot of the adjacent shopping center (Marugame Town Green) is a affiliated P, so you will be asked to discount at check-in. The front desk, lounge and restaurant are on the ２ floor, and breakfast is served here. ３ The lower floors above the floor are the hotel floors. The upper floors are dormitories, and there seems to be a coin laundry in the middle. I used the twin on the hotel floor, but the room seems to have been renovated recently and the room is clean. The size is minimal, especially the unit bath is extremely narrow, so if you use each toilet, washbasin, and bath, you may be in danger of hitting your feet and head if you don't devise a little. Even if I was １７３ centimeters tall, I thought that my knees would stick to the wall when I sat down, and if a large foreign traveler used it, I would have a hard time. On the other hand, I was impressed with breakfast, and instead of the busy place that is often found in business hotels, the restaurant with a wide 々 and space has a rich buffet menu. In addition, each item was devised, and I was able to have a delicious and comfortable breakfast. The staff were young and kind. There is also a service to provide tea brewing for midnight snacks. The room feels big among Japanese city chain hotels, at least it can open two 20-inch suitcases. The facilities and toiletries are very complete, and cute towels, slippers and toothbrushes are specially prepared for children. The bath towels are very thick, and the pajamas are of good quality. I want to buy some to take away. The bed and pillow are very comfortable. The front desk speaks good English. Although the operator didn't speak English when I called before😅 I didn't have breakfast in the hotel. There are too many delicious foods around. The two teammates bought a lot of snacks at the convenience store. The mermaid bread downstairs is also very good. You can buy freshly baked bread when it opens at 8 o'clock😋. It is about 1.5 kilometers to Ritsurin Garden, a 15-20 minute walk, and there are many buses for 3 stops. The transportation is very convenient to everywhere, and the airport bus pick-up point is also nearby. I want to stay here next time I come to Takamatsu. I travelled with a group and wanted another room. I asked for one and was told there were none available. I subsequently went upstairs and and checked Trip.com and found the room. The staff lie, not a very good welcome. Won't stay again because of this.

My husband and I chose the Uno Hotel because we wanted easy access to the art islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Hotel is a 3 or 4 minute easy walk to Uno Port which is the gateway to those islands. And ferry ride only about 15 minutes one-way. We expected the art islands to be great but this is a new hotel so we took a chance. Wow, what a wonderful experience on every level; the room, hotel team, restaurant, and the food was exceptional. The Uno Hotel is also within a 1 minute walk to a building which houses Onsen (hot springs baths and spa) and a Japanese restaurant, which they also own. (We did not have time to explore those but heard great things.) I could rave about the restaurant in the hotel called “Bluno” for days….we enjoyed breakfasts and dinners there - each superb with great attention-to-detail. A special treat was meeting restaurant manager Mr. Aran Teruo Pascual. He was kind, professional and personally makes one want to return in addition to the food and contemporary bright setting. The front desk team is warm, welcoming and attentive. When making a reservation I noticed there are multiple hotels or inns that have the name “Uno” in it so my suggestion is that you note that it is the Uno Hotel. I recommend higher floor on the water side, the hotel is not on the water, but lovely view. We look forward to returning.
