Relax Hotel Takayama Station Reviews

Just next to Takayama station, very convenient. Room is spacious and clean, highly recommend for families.

The room is spacious. It comes with a tent in a separate room with projector and surround sound system for you to enjoy netfix free of charge. It also provides lots of complimentary drinks in the fridge. You can also buy the beef from the nearby shops or supermarket to cook in the room. Breakfast choices are limited but exclusive, with order-to-make yakitori and pancake. Overall this hotel is highly recommended to families staying.

The location is close to the train station and close to the attractions. The room is also very large and comfortable.

The location is impeccable, very close to the station. The breakfast is rich and the service is very good. However, the sanitary conditions are very poor. When checking in, there was water on the dining chair, and the child found it immediately. The bed was very damp, and it felt like the quilt was wet. At night, the air conditioning system was old and made a lot of noise, which made it impossible to sleep. The waiter came to try to solve the problem, but there was nothing she could do. She replied that every room was the same. The hotel is on the second floor, there is no staircase, and you need to carry your luggage upstairs by yourself.

The hotel has free sake supply, free laundry and drying, breakfast has few choices but is delicious, pancake and skewers are very good. The room is very large, clean, and well-equipped (cooking utensils). The camping area has a projector, and you can watch netflix/youtube/amazon prime for free. Also, this time my child was sick, and the front desk and cleaning staff helped us find a doctor, hospital, and pharmacy. They also helped us translate, I really appreciate them! Upon arrival we received a very friendly welcome from Mr Yahya. We were a bit skeptical when we walked in because there was no light, but you could ring a bell and they would come and carry your suitcase upstairs. When we entered the room my jaw dropped. After 4 days of small rooms in Tokyo, this was a palace! How beautiful, spacious and clean. Everything new and well cared for. Beautiful bathroom with bath and separate toilet! Simply fantastic!
