Great location. Right nest to Ropeway station so you can easily take the nohi bus directly from Takayama to the hotel. Hotel is quite old but well maintained don’t forget to book the dinner if you arrive late cause there’s no other restaurant nearby. The onsen will give you great experience with indoor and outdoor pools. We had great time there 👍👍

Room was spacious and classy with a retro air. I had a decent view of the mountains from my window and could see some of the snowy alps in autumn Yukatas provided in a range of sizes at the reception Indoor onsen has a musky smell due to the minerals, half of the outdoor onsen has a fairly nice view of the alps but most of it is not sheltered in the event of rain My japanese dinner and breakfast was good, i had fun grilling a couple of the dishes myself, but i notice western seems more popular with the locals Very convenient for a night stay after visiting the ropeway station

The most satisfying hotel for traveling in Japan, mainly because of the beautiful scenery. The Japanese-style room I stayed in, one night and two meals, has a strong sense of ritual. There are two hot springs for women, indoor and outdoor. The outdoor one is a sulfur spring. I booked it alone at night, watching the snowflakes and soaking in the hot springs, which was very pleasant. When the hotel window is opened, you can see the snow-capped mountains behind and hear the sound of the gurgling river, which is very satisfying. And it is very close to the Shinhotaka Cable Car Station, just outside the door. The cable car in the snow season is worth a ride, especially for southerners, and the scenery is beautiful. For the entire Takayama Shinhotaka line, I personally feel that if you consider the hot springs and mountain views, this hotel is the right choice, regardless of facilities, location and transportation convenience. Although there are hot springs such as Suimeikan and Fukuchi, their terrain is below, and the scenery is not as good as Shinhotaka. Of course, if you only want to soak in hot springs, it is another matter.

The room is big enough for the kids to run around and jump around in. We ordered breakfast and dinner, which tasted OK. The service was excellent. It was very quiet at night.

The hotel is located right at the Hotaka Cable Car Station, which is very convenient. You can go to the hotel to check in and store your luggage after getting off the bus, then take the cable car. After a round of fun, you come back to the hotel. Your luggage is already in the room. You can take a hot spring bath and rest, then go to the restaurant for dinner. After dinner, the bed has been made when you return to the room. However, it is an old hotel after all, and the facilities are still a bit old.

The room is quite big and clean. It is a bit old, but the maintenance is quite good. The strange thing is the height of the wash basin, which is too low. You have to bend down to wash your hands, which is too tiring. I booked a one-night stay and two-meals package, but the service is not good compared to traditional hot spring hotels. The meals are not delivered to the room, and you need to eat in the restaurant, which feels a level lower. The quality of the food is not bad, especially the Hida beef, which is very tender and melts in your mouth. It is juicy and the desserts are also delicious. The breakfast is also quite rich, but I am not used to eating white rice so early in the morning. The hotel is very close to the cable car, 1 minute away, and the hot spring facilities are also OK. If you go to the Shinhotaka cable car, it is recommended to stay for one night.

The hotel is located next to the Shin-Hodaka Cable Car 🚡. It takes about an hour and a half to get off at the Nohi Bus at the Takayama Bus 🚌 Station. The hotel service is very thoughtful. Breakfast and dinner are Japanese cuisine and are very rich every day. The dining position is fixed. The service staff will inform the dining time of the next day in advance. The private bath is only for one hour and must be booked in advance and paid for separately. I like the Japanese-style room very much. The hot spring ♨️ is very good with an open-air bath. You can enjoy the snow while soaking in the hot spring. The only regret is that I couldn't go to the top of the mountain ⛰️ to enjoy the snow scenery due to strong winds and heavy snow. I will definitely stay in this hotel again next time I come 🏨.

Take the Nohi bus to the terminal. Although the journey takes about an hour and a half, it is definitely worth it! The hotel is right next to the cable car, so we went to play the cable car the next day. The top of the mountain was not cold, but the snow was thick. Adults and children had a lot of fun. The hotel is retro, one night and two meals, stayed for three nights, breakfast and dinner are not repeated, and the various methods of Hida Wagyu are really delicious! The set meal is very delicate, one course at a time, and I feel full after eating the whole set. The hot spring is very good, natural, and there are open-air baths for men and women. It is an unforgettable experience to soak in the hot spring in the snow! Don't miss this hotel, you won't be disappointed!

The hotel is right next to the Shin-Hotaka Cable Car! Very convenient! Shin-Hotaka is so much fun! A treasure place where you can play in the snow without being cold! The kids are very satisfied! You can also soak in the hot springs after having fun!
