We really loved the onsen. It’s located in a beautiful setting but you need to take a bit of a drive from Takayama to get there. Each men’s and women’s onsen has 2 baths, one hot one indoors and one cooler one outdoors. We liked both as you can get a nice breeze sitting outside. The bathrooms in each room are a bit dated but it’s clean. The food was exceptional, but come with a big appetite because it’s a lot of food. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Very satisfied, the food is delicious, the environment is good, the transportation is convenient, and the service is very good. The hot spring is very clean and very suitable for family outings. I recommend Songbaoyuan!

Dinner lasts from 1 to 3, and there are more meals than you can eat, including grilled beef. If it is difficult to reduce the number of items because the number of items is large and popular, it may be better for people who do not eat a lot to tell them in advance that they want to reduce the amount from the perspective of SDGS.

Use the old building with a last-minute reservation. The rooms and hallways were badly deteriorated over time. I like the restaurant and the front desk. The large public bath was good. There are two reserved open-air baths, but one of them was always available. The food was delicious, but... It's a pity that solid fuel is used even though it's a hearth. Hida beef grilled with magnolia leaf miso was ignited early, and the pace was generally fast. Good bathroom and affordable. However, I felt something was missing.
