1 The location is excellent, alpine JR comes out and turns right and goes straight, until it is at the traffic lights at the end, about 5-8 minutes walk. And alpine cherry blossoms are neighbors.
2 The room is large in size and the facilities are a bit old, but clean and tidy. Air conditioning and humidifiers are equipped with hot water bottles. The air conditioner was opened before entering the room and the hot water was boiled, which is also very intimate.
3 The top floor can be soaked, we stayed for 2 nights and soaked twice, no one. You need to take a bath before taking a bath. There are many brands of shower gel, shampoo, facial milk can be selected, and it is very comfortable to take a bath there.
4 Breakfast with Japanese and Western options, we chose Japanese, very simple, but also quite delicious.
Overall price/performance ratio is still quite high

Extremely well located if you want to be right next to the train station and bus station - my room overlooked the tracks. Provision of washing machine and dryer is a superb bonus inroom as are the full cooking facilities. The hotel intelligently provides basics such as oil, salt, coffee, tea and even a couple of detergent sachets for the washing. Strangelt though, no knives or other cutting implements of any kind. A tip if you intent to cook. The Family Mart opposite is basic, but there is a huge supermarket under the tracks and just beyond MacDonalds where you can get international food as well as Japanese. Slightly dreary corridors and a reception crowded with people waiting for their room to become available. But on the plus side they let me into my room early as I was unwell at the time.

I was quite disappointed by the services of this hotel. It should mention it’s a self-help apartment instead of call itself a hotel so that customers’s expectations won’t be mismatched. No hotel service provided here like no towel changing, no room tidying up service, etc. my room is a tatami room, I have to set up 4 tatami beds all by myself.
when I tried to book for breakfast, the staff told me it’s full, when I tried to book the carpark, staff giving unclear information and made me failed to book upon my arrival. I arrived earlier to book for carpark, the staff said the reservation for carpark will be opened at 3pm. When I arrived at 5pm, the carpark is full. Then I asked if I could book the carpark for tomorrow, the staff said cannot book now, I asked when is the carpark slot opened for reserve, the receptionist said 10am. Really confusing ……. Staff can’t communicate in English but they will use the translation machine. Pros side is the Room is spacious but with if you are looking for hotel it’s not, better call it a self help apartment

The hotel is only 1 block across the JR station with many restaurants around the area, less than 10 minutes leisure walk to the historic area. Room is very well maintained and spacious, with comfortable beddings, strong showers. The hotel is very responsive with my emails and questions, I feel that they are really trying their best to accomodate my request with occupant change that we really appreciate. Breakfast is adequate with a good selection of hot dishes, Japanese and continental. Overall a great hotel in Takayama

Ein sehr nettes Hotel, welches erst seit 1 Jahr in Betrieb ist, und in den Bergen liegt. Die Zimmer sind sehr hell und modern eingerichtet. Dort waren wir für 2 Nächte während unserer Rundreise untergebracht. Das Frühstück war nach japanischer Art und wurde am tisch serviert, was natürlich etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war, aber trotzdem sehr gut war.

The free transfer bus is operated at intervals of 30 minutes ～ 1 hours from the west exit of JR Takayama station, and guests can use it without reservation. There was a front desk, lobby, restaurant and open-air bath on the first floor, and the restaurant had dinner business, but this time I was allowed to use breakfast only. Although it was originally a reservation in a single room, it was good to have an upgrade to a twin room on the fourth floor at check-in, and the room was large 々 and I could sleep comfortably. It was good to be away from the urban area of HIDA Takayama and to taste the resort feeling at a reasonable price, but there were no restaurants and convenience stores around, and if you don't have a car, you will be around Takayama station in advance You need to finish the meal or buy it at takeout.

Walking distance to train or bus station. Helpful staff, doesn't always speak English but uses a translation app. Great check-in, neat spacious comfortable rooms [402], with bottles of water offered. At certain times onsen opened. The old town is close by, and every morning there is a morning market along the river, nice. Several restaurants and attractions nearby.

Just returned from a 12 day tour Treasures of Japan with Mercury Holidays, we stayed at this hotel for two nights, excellent hotel very clean and comfortable with everything you needed for your stay, you can enjoy the hot spring baths the ladies and gentlemen go separately as no clothing is worn, breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, staff very friendly and helpful, the hotel runs a shuttle service into Takayama you are given a time table on arrival, a supermarket is just over the road from the hotel, we enjoyed full days sightseeing around Takayama with our guide Inage, enjoyed our stay would definitely recommend this hotel.

We booked here for 2 nights, since we are here, we have to feel the comfort of this place. Breakfast and dinner are great, but their taste is a bit salty and acceptable. The hot springs are very chic, well-equipped and clean, and the hot springs for men and women will be swapped for both men and women. This room can be booked for two people. The next day we changed the room and thought it would be bigger, but it was actually two rooms, so it was unnecessary. And the scenery by the river is the same. Furukawa Town is not big, so there are not many choices of hotels. This one has a long history. Hygiene didn't give high marks because there was lint and dust on the countertops, and there was dust on the cosmetics in the room. This is what I care about.

GGuest UserThe hotel is 15 minutes walk from the railway station bus stop, and the scenery along the way is beautiful. The hotel is run by several elderly people. It is already a 65-year-old hotel. Starting from the boss's grandfather, the house has a history of 125 years and is very Japanese. The ornaments in the house can be shot for an hour. There is a special doll, and I am fortunate to see the dolls of the boys' day. The old people are very enthusiastic, the breakfast is delicious, it is served by a Japanese grandmother. It is really like a grandmother in anime. It is very similar to talking and walking. The breakfast is very harmonious. I still remember the fish.

AAnonymous UserA wonderful experience. Our stay at this ryokan made us thankful that we decided to kickoff our holiday at Takayama and stay for 4D3N! Everything was impeccable. From the service of their team, the cleanliness of their accommodation (& of your luggage and shoes!) and the breakfast spread served. My first time sleeping on futon beds and it was comfortable. Also especially love that they have both private bath and public onsen, and complimentary use of washing and drying machines (detergent is chargeable but affordable). Not forgetting that the place is also very conveniently located near the train and bus station. Really enjoyed our stay!

GGuest User８ Month ２７ 2 nights from day. When I arrived at the hotel, it rained and parked in front of the entrance. １ time until check-in in the lobby. Immediately from the east building where the front lounge is located, the south building. There is a footbath at the end of the aisle and towels are also placed. Take the elevator to the ６ floor. Be careful as the elevator door closes early. The view from the room is mountains. The twin is large enough. The toilet and washroom in the unit bath are good. It's a pity that there is only one room key １. The large communal bath is on the １ floor of the East Building. There is no replacement for men and women. There are about 10 showers in the indoor bath. There is also an open-air bath. Charcoal is burned in the fireplace in front of the entrance of the indoor bath. There are also billiards. There is a heated pool with a depth of 90 cm outside. Although it is not big, there are few hotels in Okuhida with a pool. The meal is Fuyo, a suzuya on the 2nd floor of the East Building, and Japanese food is served with evening breakfast. It is good that there is no tempura in the kaiseki. Alcohol is cheap. There are two smoking areas, the terrace in front of the lobby of the East Building and the wooden deck outside the rest area with the fireplace in the South Building. The next day, around 13:00, I got on a slope car and went to the famous mixed bath open-air bath ”Yari no Yu”. The largest area in Okuhida, certainly wide. If the weather is nice, you can see Mt. Yarigatake. The man is half-pants style. Women wear shoulder-style bathing clothes. There is a dehydrator in the changing room for women, but not for boys.

GGuest UserFrom the time I arrived by car to the time I checked in, I felt a welcome hospitality. There was a coffee service in the lobby lounge. The room was a room plan, and it was a Japanese room ８ tatami & wide edge. In the inn, as I spent almost on the wide edge with a chair, the window was small facing the parking lot, the ceiling was diagonal, and the head hit the threshold, so I said this room might be a translation. The Japanese room was normal, and the room had two keys and Wi-Fi. yukata can be selected for women. There is also cold water and electric pot. The bath was a source of Ni kind, with an open-air bath of sulfur spring and simple spring, and there were two open-air baths and two cherry blossom baths. From the simple spring of the open-air bath, the mountain of Hotaka 々 was desired. The inner bath is sulfur spring. The hot water flowers are sinking. The open-air bath was also large and impressed with the very good hot spring. The laundry wash area has amenities. Dinner was in the large hall and the space between tables was also sufficient. The Hotaka Kai seat was satisfied. Especially the cold tea bowl steaming of HIDA milk and HIDA mozzarella and the pottery plate baking of HIDA beef were especially delicious. Also dessert (cheese cake, caramel pudding was delicious, HIDA melon and pine were sweet. sake was first asked for a cold sake of local sake, but later, a cold sake of local sake was ３ books and is currently discounted at 2000 I noticed that there was a circle later and I had a ３ book set. I enjoyed the difference between the sake ３ seeds and each taste. The meal attendant feels good, and the chakkaman is also on the table. So it was good to bake meat or bake at your favorite time. Breakfast was the same venue. If you are young, you may not have a volume, but it was a good amount for us in mature years. There is also coffee and tea service. The joint bath had time constraints, but I used it early in the morning. The washroom is a small bath with only ３ places, but when I used it, I was alone, so I was able to enter it relaxingly. Breakfast was a lunch box for corona convenience. Unfortunately, Bento and miso soup were not delicious, but they left most of them. The accommodation fee is cheap, and there are many taverns and ramen shops around, and I think it is a convenient inn.

KkisstherainWe stayed 3 nights in the Japanese styled ensuite room. It was quiet, comfortable and cosy. We rented pyjamas for only ¥100 a set. Saved us the trouble of packing our own. As we stayed for more than a night, we were given complimentary one time use of laundry. The usual cost was ¥300 for washer and dryer. (FYI there were two washers and dryers.) Very reasonable price. The kitchen was well equipped. A guest was cooking dinner (frying vegetables, not just instant noodle) on our first night and they also tried using the ice shaving machine to make ice shaving. It was a fun place to stay. No bottled water was provided but you can drink the tap water, so be sure yo bring your own bottle. The hostel was very well maintained. Very clean and organised. The staff can speak relatively fluent English and are helpful to provide information. They also helped to arrange for our luggage to be transferred to our accommodation in Shinjuku as we were going hiking at Kamikochi after Takayama. It was a great experience staying at K's House.

GGuest UserThe hot springs are amazing! It's hard to find it. It is highly recommended. The food is also very satisfying and unexplored. However, my partner complained about garger for 2 hours at midnight, or he was sharp and I was also reluctant to drive alone far the next day, and I was reluctant to take any care of it. Check out without breakfast I went back directly, and it was the first time I had such a terrible eye in my life. It's a very good inn, but it's broken! !! I'm sorry, ... The trip I decided on is always a trip destination, and my partner broke the trip with a buggyre that doesn't make sense, and I don't want to go on a trip again, Well, but I'll go again with the original Kiami. I wonder if I'll do it until I die, the inn is the best! There is no doubt!

It was also nice to be able to enjoy conversation around the hearth. It was in a great location for exploring Takayama, including the Miyagawa Morning Market. I also appreciated the fact that there was a parking lot.

GGuest UserAs the inn's brochure says, ”It feels like it happened a long time ago.” This is an inn where time passes by. The name “Hina no Yu” is “Hina No Hina”. The room was large, about 12 tatami mats, and had a bed, table and chair set. There was also a wide veranda and a porch surrounding the room. The restroom also has a standing restroom for men, and I mentioned that it's rare for an inn to have a men's restroom. When I asked later, I was told that this room was only for boys. Even though I turned off the air conditioner, there was a nice breeze coming in from outside, and I could hear the chirping crows, and we both took a nap after taking a bath. The hot spring had a slight smell of sulfur. The indoor bath was hot and the outdoor bath was lukewarm, which was very comfortable during this hot season. It is a good hot spring with flowing water directly from the source. There are no lotions in the bathroom, so it is better to bring the amenity set provided in your room. There is a rest area near the bath. As I was drinking cold tea, a cool breeze came in from outside through the screen door, and I felt nostalgic for summers before, thinking, ``It's so cool in the evening.'' It's too hot everywhere now. Takahara-juku in the summer is nice and cool. In the rest area, videos of Hotaka and Mt. Yarigatake were shown on the TV, and I watched them while relaxing and drinking something cold. Dinner was served in a private room in a different room. The hinamori was a colorful appetizer with lots of different kinds of seasonal summer vegetables. The sashimi was rock fish and local salmon, the grilled fish was grilled sweetfish, and the ceramic grilled bite-sized steak was Hida beef. The rice was unique and could be eaten as is. A glass of local sake was 660 yen and went well with the food. Breakfast was also served in a private room. The overnight-dried puffer fish and tofu were delicious, and I ended up having a second helping of rice with grilled magnolia miso. After the meal, we had coffee in the lounge in the front area. The coffee cup was in a cup warmer, which was a nice touch since I like hot coffee. Especially in the winter, when you're servicing coffee, the cup gets cold and the coffee ends up lukewarm. In the lounge, there was relaxing classical music playing. It's a shame because it's only cash-only when paying, or because I'm a cashless person. I felt that the quiet landlady and the host had a firm concept for the inn. I entered the hot springs at 2pm and left at 11am, and it was a really relaxing stay.

Ttomarinenyo高山駅から徒歩10分くらいのところにあるアットホームな民宿で、宿からすぐのところで宮川朝市がやっています。 古い街並みにもすぐ行けるためアクセスはとても良いです。 部屋は和室で、とても綺麗でした。 ホテルの方の対応が良かったです。 Oyado Iguchi is good location near Takayama Station and Takayama Old street. In front of Oyado, Miyagawa morning market is held everyday. The hotel is Japanese style room which is so clean. Employee was good and friendly. 宿井口在来高山站附近交通好的酒店。 宿舍前面每天都有早市。房间是日式房间，很干净。服务员很热情。
