Hotel is very new and modern. Room is spacious. I was able to open up two big luggage and still with space to walk about. With such spacious room, it is a pity there is no bathtub in the room.
Oh the bed and pillows were very comfortable... probably it was still very new. Haha
Provide some coffee and tea in the lobby but sadly no beauty amenities for the guests to self pick as opposed to other hotels all over Japan.
Travellers do take note that as this is a very small town, alot of restaurants and eateries might not be open during the weekdays or when it is off peak domestic travel season.
Plus... the Google map GPS location brought me to the wrong area of the hotel... it brought us to the mountains! so do beware for those who drive.... pls go to hotel official website and get the pin coordinates for Google map navigation.

I think this is one of the treasure hotels. The onsen on the top floor is very clean. The evening meal (booked separately) is great value for money. The Saga beef and seafood are very good and high quality. The room is large and comfortable for a family of four. The restaurants around the hotel and the onsen street (just downstairs) are very convenient.

It is an old-fashioned large inn. The room has a tea incense furnace, a mirror stand, a large pot, and a cherry blossom in the matcha. My house with a 2-year-old child of a rampant was a bit harahara. I was expecting a room bath because I was in a room with an open-air bath, but the first impression was a narrow and ordinary bathtub, so I was disappointed honestly. However, when I actually entered, I was surprised that there was a depth and the quality of the spring was comfortable and I liked it! The family bath was cold but it was pleasant. Above all, the room food is comfortable. I was able to relax with my child. If I told you a poor ingredient, I responded firmly and everything was very delicious. My son was also cute and it was a fun meal! There was also a cute yukata for children.

This price is very cost-effective to stay at the hot spring hotel with breakfast. The hotel is not far from the station, the classics of the play are not far from the hotel, the hotel has parking spaces, and it is convenient to drive. The room is unexpectedly large, and the hot spring pool has two kinds, indoor and outdoor. There are billiard tables and horse riding machines in the lobby for free use, and a bunch of comics can be seen. You can spend time in the hot spring area at night if you have nothing to do. Breakfast is a famous hot spring soup tofu in the local area. It is highly recommended to try it, although there are also local dishes. The only fly in the ointment is that the counters don't speak English on weekdays, but they don't reduce their enthusiasm for the guests.

Japanese home-cooked meals were provided, and both breakfasts had almost the same menu.
They give you a ticket to use the hot spring right next door for free. Ocheon is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., but admission closes at 9:15 p.m.
For dinner, a simple menu is served until 9 p.m.
A car is essential as there are no other amenities nearby.
Convenience stores are within walking distance, but restaurants and supermarkets are far away so walking is difficult.
It's the perfect place to enjoy a quiet morning and evening hot spring bath.

I used this hotel for my first trip to Huis Ten Bosch. The point I chose was that there was a large hot spring bath in the hotel. After returning tired from sightseeing at night, it was very helpful to take a hot spring in the hotel. The hot water was just right and the fatigue was healed. The rooms were upgraded on the day and the balcony overlooked Huis Ten Bosch and was the best. Everywhere in the hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also rich and delicious, and I ate a lot and couldn't eat lunch. The attention of the staff was also detailed, and I was able to spend two days really comfortably. I would like to use it next time I visit. thank you for your help.

Although I choose to stay at Huis Ten Bosch every time I come to Huis Ten Bosch, I think it is good every time. This time the whole family came and took my grandson to take a bath in the big bath in the evening. The security guard saw that the child did not have a yukata, so he asked if he needed one for the children. Yukata, when he saw us, he immediately pressed the elevator door for us in advance, which felt very considerate! The breakfast quality is as good as before, great! I will still choose to stay here next time I come!

The room is quite old and the accommodation of women is severe. It seems that cleaning is only appropriate and visible. Everyone is emphasized that it is cheap, but I paid 9200 yen for accommodation and 800 yen for breakfast, but anything is too expensive. The hotel in Karatsu is a new hotel in the station and shopping street, while there are many large hotels on the riverside and seaside. 2 minutes walk from the station. The 3rd floor 1 floor of the commercial facility is the hotel. Simple interior, clean and comfortable stay. The shopping street around is never lively, but there are shops that can taste the yuki of Genkai Nada, including a sushi shop with Michelin stars. Breakfast is at the cafe on the first floor. The toast set, bread and thick cut bacon were delicious. There is no parking lot, the station north exit parking lot is recommended, 500 yen to 12 hours. It was a comfortable Karatsu stay.

KkawalifeThe common part such as the front desk, lobby, corridor is very beautiful, but the room and hot springs were not old. There is also a gap and I am disappointed. Also, the operation is bad for meals, and it is provided to all guests at the same time as a banquet. Takeo had a lot of activities to enjoy at night, so I wanted to eat as soon as possible, but I couldn't respond to my personal needs. It seemed to have a wedding plan, but it was a facility that I would never want to use on an important day of my life. It faces the lake and the location is very good and the scenery in the morning was very beautiful.

HHank48Conveniently located Japanese-style hotel (Ryokan) just mins from central Takeo Onsan. Seemingly just opened or re-opened since 2023, a good combination of old historical Ryokan (no longer used as guest room)
Actual accommodation is newly built 2-storey Japanese style villa with own half open-air Onsan.
Overall impression and service was good; however dining was a little let down and not too many facilities available. Priced somewhat too high for both local and foreign visitors.

You can call the hotel to pick you up after you arrive at Takeo Onsen Station, and you'll be there in 5 minutes.
The service attitude was super good. They helped me carry my luggage. They found that a screw in my luggage was loose and they helped me tighten it.
The hot springs are very comfortable, especially slippery, and there are also open-air ones, which are very comfortable.
Mifuneyama, a 10-15 minute taxi ride away, has teamlab, a very unique activity.

Yyuk2017tripIt is a building with a mountain-blown outer wall just off the tower gate, which can be said to be a symbol of Takeo Onsen.When you open the sliding door, you pass the approach like a tea room and open the entrance. The wine cooler was placed at the entrance and there was a lineup of wines 々. When you take off your shoes and go up, you will have a small living room on your left hand and check in here. A heavy sofa and chair were placed, and there was a fireplace, and sweet sake and ohagi were served at the hot water of kakiemon kiln. I went up the stairs and went back to the back and stayed between the flowers and birds at the end of the stairs. The rooms were also made like tea rooms, and the hall was dining and tea rooms were used as bedrooms, and coffee and tea were set in the water shop. The hall has a large table on a carpet, and a sofa on the window. The bedroom is a space that is close to the bed when two beds are placed. When entering from the water shop, it is a swamp, so it enters, but when entering from the hall, the ceiling is low, so be careful not to hit. On the other side of the water shop, there is a mirror stand in front of the hall, which is important to arrange the body. The bathroom is a small unit bus with a 3-point set, which is a bit unfortunate. At least I want the toilet to be independent. As Kaiseki Inn is also served, this sale is a dish. Dinner was beautiful, and even if I eat it, it was only elegant and sophisticated dishes, and I felt elegant. As a favorite of the vessels, I also enjoyed Arita Yaki and Takeo Yaki. The breakfast was also rich in the number of items, and the standard ingredients such as myotaji and soup rolled eggs were also delicious on one rank. YYizhipangjiIt's a decent hot spring hotel. The two of us only brought a backpack for this trip. It's a bit funny to huddle in the corner with our only luggage and think about it. Hahahaha. There are many accommodations on Takeo Onsen street, but this one should be considered quite cost-effective. It costs 1,580 RMB on Saturday. After all, prices have increased across the board after the epidemic.
It felt like it wasn't the type to accept foreign tourists, so I finally climbed up Jalan to read the reviews. As for dining, the quality of dinner was not as good as the Takasago Onjuku in Ureshino where I stayed before. It was not delivered to the room but was eaten in the restaurant, but it was quite rich. Of course there would be Ureshino tofu for breakfast, but I really didn’t have any tsukemono. feel…
The air conditioner in the room was a bit too powerful, so it was relatively dry. The hot spring is not a big place. I feel that the area on the second floor is much larger than the first floor. According to the hotel's own introduction, it has a history of two hundred years. In the words of the four old Nagasaki aunties who I met while bathing and eating, it’s a すべすべ~ Unfortunately, there is no ice milk vending machine, and an additional 300 yen hot spring tax will be paid when checking out.

DDreamer02234323206Kumamoto to Takeo Onsen by train took only 1h18 mins. Takeo Onsen in Western Saga Prefecture is a small onsen town. Central Hotel Takeo Onsen's location beside the Takeo JR station is very convenient and a walk to Romon Gate is only about 15 mins. Our twin Room in the Annex Building was very spacious and the huge super single bed was very comfortable. Each person paid Y15,250 for 2 nights stay with breakfast. The onsen on the 8F is small and we went at 7 am to avoid the crowd. There are coin operated washers and dryers also on 8F. The breakfast buffet was of high quality and delicious. It is a pity that the blooming season for Sakuras has not begun so we cancelled our visit to Mifuneyama Rakuen. We walked to Takeo Shrine and several Sakura trees were in full bloom so we took lots of pictures there. We also went to Huis Ten Bosch, a huge theme park in Sasebo, Nagasaki Pref (40 mins train ride).

JJiangchuanmaijiuLet me talk about the advantages first, the hall is antique and very historical. There is an old lady waiter who is very enthusiastic to come over to put the record for you. Coffee capsules are also provided.
Disadvantages
1- I booked a room without a bathroom, and then gave me a room with a broken toilet, and pointed to Japanese to show me that there is no bathroom and no toilet on the order. Later, after negotiation, I changed the room with a good toilet.
I asked the waiter why the toilet was not repaired, and she replied that it was difficult to repair because it was an old house.
2-Later, I went to the hot springs and found that only four sitting baths broke a faucet, which was marked on it.
The first foot into the room, stepped on the tatami, it was recessed, so uncomfortable defects, and did not repair. There are also visible stains on the tatami.
Insufficient repair and poor hygiene lower the overall feeling.
