A very traditional Japanese hot spring hotel. Although there is no large public bath, the experience of the three private baths that can be used freely is still very good. The most commendable thing about the hotel is the food. It is worthy of being recommended by Michelin. Every meal is amazing and amazing. I always stay in a hot spring hotel every time I go to Japan, and this experience can be said to be the best. Highly recommended.

A super wonderful experience. It is worthy of being a gourmet hot spring. The food is fresh and the service is excellent throughout. I must come again if I have the chance. If you feel that it is far from the JR station, you can ask the hotel to pick you up, but you can only pick up from 14:30 in the afternoon.

Very enthusiastic service attitude, definitely worth recommending. The only drawback is that there are only 3 small bathhouses.

Traditional Japanese-style room, the room is a bit small, but the service and hygiene are very good. There is no private hot spring bath in the room. There are three public hot spring rooms. Families can enjoy the hot spring independently on a first-come, first-served basis. The dishes in the morning and evening are rich and delicious.

The layout of the room is reasonable. I like it very much. I have breakfast and dinner in the room. The food is either not delicious or I have high expectations for it. The public hot spring room is relatively small, there are family hot springs, and there are also rooms, which are not big.

I stayed here over 10 years ago after hearing about the reputation of the cuisine. It was very delicious, so I revisited it on my trip to Kyushu this time. Before we stayed, we learned that they had been awarded Michelin 3 Red Pavilions in 2014 and 2019, so we had high expectations, but the food, from appetizers to desserts, exceeded our expectations. On the menu for Hina's Festival in March, Hina Chirashi, Tsuchihitsu, and Ukon Ouka Yam were beautifully arranged and served as dim sum. Last time, I felt that the sashimi was the most delicious I had eaten so far, but this time, the Genkai platter was excellent. The interior of the room and bathroom hadn't changed from the previous stay, so it felt old in some places, but I was satisfied with my stay because my purpose was to enjoy the food. It's a pity that it's far from Tokyo, but if it's nearby, it's an inn I'd like to stay at every time the menu changes.
